The Borderlands 4 C4SH DLC was officially unveiled during Tokyo Game Show 2025, introducing a new Vault Hunter scheduled to arrive in early 2026. C4SH, a robot cowboy gambler with a flair for luck-driven combat, will join the roster as part of the Vault Hunter Pack included in the Super Deluxe Edition.
Importance: The Borderlands 4 C4SH DLC highlights Gearbox’s push for long-term game support, reviving DLC Vault Hunters to boost replayability and fan engagement.

Borderlands 4 C4SH: A New Vault Hunter
Gearbox CEO Randy Pitchford revealed that the Borderlands 4 C4SH DLC adds a unique character with a backstory rooted in his time as a casino leader, before leaving the tables behind to chase fortune as a Vault Hunter.
C4Sh’s abilities focus on random chance mechanics and card-throwing attacks, drawing inspiration from Claptrap’s unpredictable skills in The Pre-Sequel and the card-slinging style of Gambit from X-Men.
Pitchford even lent his own sleight-of-hand expertise to the animation team, using footage of his close-up magic tricks as references for C4SH’s moves.
The DLC will also include fresh story content, potentially addressing how Borderlands 4’s mind-control bolts impact a robotic character.
While rumors suggest he may have a sidekick named T4NGO, that detail remains unconfirmed.
