London is about to witness a thrilling fusion of magic and mayhem like never before. A group of veteran developers is quietly crafting a new cooperative experience that promises high-octane action, dynamic teamwork, and a reimagined urban playground where every corner holds a surprise.

Sony devs Cast Outs arrives as a newly announced modern-fantasy co-op action game from Twisted Works, a studio formed by former London Studio developers, blending spell-slinging combat with fast, team-driven gameplay.

The project brings a stylized reimagining of London to PS5, Xbox Series, and PC, with an early access beta planned for 2027.

Importance: Sony devs Cast Outs marks the return of veteran creators from London Studio, preserving their fantasy co-op vision while shaping the future of high-energy, cross-platform multiplayer games.

    Evolving Heroes And Team Synergies

Created by a team of industry veterans, Sony devs Cast Outs expands on the fantasy-meets-urban concept the group once explored at their former studio.

Twisted Works describes the game as a magic-powered cooperative experience where spells hit with the physical force of brawler combat and the immediacy of a shooter.

Players team up as evolving heroes, combining their abilities through run-based missions set across wide-linear districts inspired by iconic London landmarks.

    Cross-Platform Play Plans

With no single-player mode, the game focuses entirely on synergy-driven encounters, unpredictable mutators, dynamic objectives, and an ever-escalating supernatural threat pouring through dimensional rifts.

The studio also aims to support cross-platform play and explore a potential future release on Switch 2 after launch.
