Tom Henderson believes that the upcoming God of War game will feature Kratos’s earlier days, rather than the more mature tone of game, which is already in play. He also revealed that God of War’s next game is set to take place in Greece rather than in an Egyptian Setting as previously thought.
Importance: Although many players love the ongoing Norse settings in God of War games, there are those who would love to see and play the older ones, which once featured Kratos in Greek settings. Henderson also said that he is not sure whether this change has something in connection with the rumored Remaster development of original God of War game, which Sony has already completed, the announcement is predicted to be in first half of 2025. What he is certain about, is the claim that the next God of War will be in Greek settings. He stated in a podcast that “From what I’ve been told, it isn’t set in Egypt, it is actually set in Greece, and it is going to be a Younger Kratos this time. Apparently, the storyline deals with his relationship with his father and all of that kind of stuff”.
However, it is not definite to say that the storyline includes Zeus or the Kratos’s father from Spartan. The certainty of this speculated news is still in question, as no official contributor to the God of War game has proven it yet.
