Neowiz has filed a new trademark for “Wonders of O,” prompting speculation about what the Lies of P publisher may be preparing next. The European Union trademark application was filed on September 10, 2026 and is currently under examination. Its listed goods and services include computer game software, downloadable game programs, online games and other entertainment-related uses, making it clear that the filing is connected to interactive entertainment.

The application is registered under number 019420678 and names NEOWIZ as the owner. Its Class 9 coverage includes computer and video game software, interactive multimedia games, downloadable game programs and virtual reality software, while Class 41 includes online games and other entertainment services. The scope strongly suggests that Wonders of O is intended for a game or broader entertainment property, although a trademark filing by itself does not reveal whether the project is already in production or when it could be announced.

The timing has naturally drawn attention because Neowiz is already developing a sequel to Lies of P. In May, the company confirmed through its first-quarter 2026 financial materials that the sequel had passed its prototype stage and entered full-scale development. Neowiz has still not announced the sequel’s title, setting, platforms or release window, leaving considerable room for speculation around newly filed names.

That does not mean Wonders of O is necessarily the Lies of P sequel. Neowiz has multiple projects underway in addition to its follow-up to the 2023 Soulslike, including other internally developed titles and games being handled through publishing partnerships. Trademark registrations are also commonly made well before a public announcement and can sometimes protect concepts that never ultimately reach release.

The wording will nevertheless attract attention because Lies of P has already hinted at where its universe could go next. The original game’s post-credits material pointed toward Dorothy and imagery associated with The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, leading to years of speculation that a future installment could reinterpret another classic children’s story in the same dark style. “Wonders of O” is suggestive enough to invite comparisons with Oz, but Neowiz has not connected the trademark to Dorothy, The Wizard of Oz or Lies of P in any official capacity.

Neowiz confirmed plans for a Lies of P sequel shortly after the first game proved commercially successful, and development has since progressed beyond the concept phase. The company said in May that the project had completed prototype verification and moved into full-scale production, with development now focused on improving the actual gameplay experience and overall polish. Details beyond that remain limited, and the publisher has not announced an official name for the sequel.

The new filing therefore provides a concrete piece of information without resolving what Wonders of O actually represents. Its game-related classifications make it more substantial than a vague social-media rumor, but there is currently no evidence establishing that it is the final title of Lies of P 2. It could just as plausibly belong to one of Neowiz’s other projects or to a separate intellectual property being protected ahead of a future reveal.

Until Neowiz provides more information, the safest conclusion is that Wonders of O is a newly protected game-related name rather than a confirmed Lies of P project. The company’s active development slate means there are several possible uses for it, while the timing alongside full-scale production of the Lies of P sequel will ensure the filing receives close attention. For now, any direct connection between Wonders of O and the next Lies of P should be treated as speculation rather than confirmation.
