    Corrections Policy | Techtroduce

    Techtroduce is committed to correcting factual errors promptly and transparently.

    Gaming and technology news can change quickly, particularly when stories involve breaking announcements, leaks, reports, release dates, technical specifications or information that is still developing.

    How We Handle Corrections

    If a factual error is identified in a Techtroduce article, we aim to review the issue and correct it as soon as reasonably possible.

    Corrections may involve:

    • fixing an incorrect name, date, number or technical detail;
    • correcting a misquoted or misattributed statement;
    • clarifying information that could give readers the wrong impression;
    • updating a story when an official announcement contradicts an earlier report;
    • correcting the status of information previously described as confirmed, reported, leaked or rumored.

    Minor spelling, grammar, formatting or style changes may be corrected without a separate notice.

    Significant Corrections

    When an error materially changes the meaning of an article or an important factual claim, we may add a correction or update note explaining what was changed.

    Where appropriate, the article’s modified date may also be updated.

    We do not intentionally remove significant factual corrections simply to hide that an error occurred.

    Updates Are Not Always Corrections

    Some articles are updated because new information becomes available rather than because the original reporting was incorrect.

    For example, we may update an article when:

    • a rumored game is officially announced;
    • a release date changes;
    • a developer provides additional context;
    • new specifications become available;
    • a developing story receives a meaningful update.

    These changes may be labelled as updates rather than corrections.

    Report an Error

    If you believe a Techtroduce article contains an inaccurate statement, incorrect attribution or other factual error, please contact us.

    Include the article URL and a brief explanation of the issue so we can review it efficiently.
