Behind The Scenes Of The Sequel

According to CD Projekt RED’s latest Q3 presentation, the Cyberpunk 2077 comeback is now backed by significant growth behind the scenes, with the team developing the sequel expanding from 96 to 135 developers as the project moves deeper into pre-production.

The company plans to scale the team to more than 300 developers by 2027 across its Boston, Vancouver, and Warsaw studios. Meanwhile, Cyberpunk 2077 has quietly added another major achievement, surpassing a massive global sales milestone since last year’s update and cementing the renewed interest surrounding the franchise.
