Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition has officially launched, bringing renewed excitement to one of Bethesda’s most iconic RPGs. With the new release, players are once again diving back into the Commonwealth, exploring familiar wastelands and revisiting their favorite mods.

However, Bethesda isn’t stopping there — several post-launch updates are already on the way to enhance the overall experience for console players.

Bethesda has confirmed a new Fallout 4 mod update following the release of the Anniversary Edition, bringing several key fixes and improvements across all platforms. Xbox players, in particular, can look forward to a significant enhancement — an expanded mod storage limit.

The update, rolling out in two patches over the coming weeks, aims to improve performance, fix known bugs, and enhance the overall gameplay experience.

Importance: The Fallout 4 mod update enhances Xbox player freedom, boosts game stability, and reinforces Bethesda’s commitment to supporting its long-standing community.

    Two-Stage Fallout 4 Mod Update

According to Bethesda, the Fallout 4 mod update will arrive in two stages, with the first patch scheduled for November 24 and the second set for December.

The most notable change for Xbox users is the increase in local mod storage capacity, which will rise to 2GB, allowing players to install and manage more custom content than before.

    Exit Save Errors Addressed

Alongside this upgrade, the patches will resolve multiple technical issues, such as crashes when starting a new game with Creations enabled, slow navigation in the Creation Storefront, and the “LOOKUP FAILED!” placeholder text appearing in the user interface.

The first Fallout 4 mod update patch arrives November 24, boosting Xbox mod capacity to 2GB

Additional fixes will also address exit save errors and rare crashes related to Pip-Boy usage. With these updates, Bethesda aims to deliver a smoother and more stable experience for Fallout 4 fans returning to the wasteland.
