New Fortnite leak details have surfaced for Rebecca’s upcoming Cyberpunk: Edgerunners Exotic weapon, revealing a dual-gun setup with separate SMG and assault-rifle behavior. According to Fortnite leaker HYPEX, the weapon uses medium ammo for both guns, while its SMG rounds can ricochet up to two times and its assault-rifle shots explode on impact. Epic Games has officially confirmed that Rebecca’s Guns are coming later in the current Fortnite season, but the newly reported stats and effects have not yet been announced by the developer.
The leaked weapon appears to combine two different firearms into a single Exotic item rather than giving players two independent inventory slots. HYPEX describes one side as an SMG and the other as an assault rifle, with both drawing from the same medium-ammo category. The assault-rifle portion is reported to deal 14 damage per shot and carry 40 rounds, while the SMG has its own separate damage and handling values.
The most unusual feature appears to be the SMG’s ricochet effect. According to the leak, its bullets can bounce up to two times after striking surfaces, potentially allowing players to damage opponents around corners or in enclosed spaces. Exactly how aggressively those ricochets track targets, whether each bounce retains full damage, and how the mechanic behaves against player-built structures remain unclear.
The assault-rifle side reportedly takes a different approach by making its bullets explode on impact. That would give the weapon an area-damage component in addition to its direct-fire behavior, potentially making it useful against grouped opponents or players positioned around cover. The current leaked information does not establish the explosion radius, structure damage, damage falloff or whether direct hits receive an additional bonus.
Because the weapon is not yet officially available, all of those values should be treated as pre-release data rather than final balance information. Epic frequently adjusts unreleased Fortnite items before they reach the live loot pool, and individual numbers can change through hotfixes or server-side tuning. HYPEX has also previously surfaced unfinished Exotic weapons and other content whose final implementation differed from early files.
What is confirmed is that Rebecca’s Guns are planned for Fortnite Override. Epic explicitly named the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners weapon in its Season 4 announcement, listing it alongside other crossover items scheduled to arrive later in the season. That official confirmation gives the underlying weapon substantially stronger footing than a typical item leak, even though the ricochet, explosion and ammunition details remain unofficial for now.
Rebecca’s Guns join a growing list of unusual Exotic weapons being prepared for the season. Another recent datamine pointed to an Exotic Ramping Rocket Launcher planned for later in the season, suggesting Epic is leaning heavily into weapons that alter familiar gun behavior rather than simply increasing base damage. The Rebecca weapon fits that pattern by giving each side of the dual setup a separate defining mechanic.
The collaboration itself is also already confirmed. Epic’s Fortnite Override announcement listed Cyberpunk: Edgerunners among the crossovers planned throughout the season, alongside franchises including Kingdom Hearts, Mega Man, Persona 5 Royal, Crash Bandicoot and Spyro the Dragon. Rebecca’s Guns were specifically named as one of the gameplay items coming later, although Epic has not provided a release date.
The model seen in earlier leaked material appears to be based on two firearms associated with Rebecca in Cyberpunk: Edgerunners rather than her more recognizable shotgun. That has already prompted discussion among fans, but the current leak is primarily significant because it explains how the weapon may function inside Fortnite rather than simply showing its model. If the reported effects survive into the live version, the dual weapon will effectively combine ricocheting close-range pressure with explosive ranged fire.
For now, Epic Games has not confirmed the leaked damage values, magazine size or special effects. Rebecca’s Guns remain officially scheduled to arrive later in Fortnite Override, while the newly surfaced SMG ricochets and explosive assault-rifle rounds should be treated as datamined details that may change before release.
