A Kingdom Hearts collaboration involving Rocket League and Fortnite has become more concrete after dataminers reportedly decrypted the full Rocket League event, revealing the Gummi Ship as a driveable vehicle alongside a wider set of themed cosmetics. Fortnite leaker SpushFNBR shared the discovery while crediting dataminer kriiss_xo, adding to earlier backend evidence connecting Kingdom Hearts with Epic Games’ vehicle ecosystem. Epic Games, Psyonix and Square Enix have not officially announced the collaboration.

The centerpiece of the leaked event is the Gummi Ship, the spacecraft used throughout the Kingdom Hearts series to travel between worlds. Earlier datamine reports had already pointed to the vehicle appearing across Rocket League and Fortnite, while rendered cosmetic assets showed Kingdom Hearts-themed designs applied to Rocket League cars. The newly decrypted event reportedly exposes more of the Rocket League side at once, strengthening the evidence that the content is substantially developed rather than existing only as an early internal reference.

Previous leaks described a broader Rocket League bundle built around the Gummi Ship, including multiple decals and additional vehicle cosmetics. Reports also pointed to themed wheels, a boost, trail, goal explosion, topper and profile items being prepared alongside the car itself. Because the material comes from game files and datamining rather than an official announcement, the final contents, pricing and availability could still change before release.

The Fortnite connection requires more caution. Earlier dataminers reported that the Gummi Ship was configured to work as a vehicle cosmetic in Fortnite as well as Rocket League, making it one of the clearest pieces of evidence connecting Kingdom Hearts to Epic’s battle royale. However, the newly decrypted Rocket League event does not establish when the Fortnite portion will release, and there is currently no official Fortnite announcement providing a date.

SpushFNBR suggested that the Kingdom Hearts Fortnite collaboration may originally have been intended for this week before being delayed, but that remains speculation. No verified Epic Games communication confirms that a Fortnite release was scheduled and then moved at the last minute. The Fortnite news feed currently contains no Kingdom Hearts announcement, so any timing claims should be treated separately from the stronger evidence surrounding the underlying cosmetics.

The distinction is important because the vehicle content is better supported than assumptions about a full character crossover. Earlier leaks showed Kingdom Hearts styling and the Gummi Ship, but there has still been no official confirmation that Sora will become a playable Fortnite outfit. A Kingdom Hearts collaboration can therefore exist across Fortnite and Rocket League without necessarily including the franchise’s main protagonist as a character skin.

The Gummi Ship is also a particularly suitable cosmetic for Epic’s shared vehicle system. Rocket League and Fortnite increasingly share compatible car bodies and vehicle cosmetics, allowing licensed designs to appear across both games when supported. A Kingdom Hearts vehicle therefore has a clearer technical path between the two titles than a Fortnite character model, which would require a separate set of cosmetics, animations and approvals.

The timing comes as Kingdom Hearts has returned to wider attention ahead of Kingdom Hearts 4’s planned late-2027 release. Square Enix has been showing more of the franchise again in 2026, while Epic has continued building Fortnite around major gaming crossovers. That broader activity makes the collaboration plausible, but it does not replace the need for an official announcement before treating any release schedule as confirmed.

Fortnite leaks have also increasingly come from encrypted assets and backend discoveries rather than conventional insider claims. Similar datamining has previously exposed upcoming content such as the Exotic Ramping Rocket Launcher before Epic formally detailed it. The Kingdom Hearts material now follows that same pattern, with multiple stages of file-based evidence accumulating around a collaboration that remains unannounced.

For now, the strongest conclusion is that a Kingdom Hearts-themed Gummi Ship vehicle and a wider Rocket League event have been found through datamining, with previous evidence also linking the vehicle to Fortnite. What remains unknown is when either side of the crossover will release, whether the reported Fortnite timing was actually delayed, and whether the collaboration extends beyond vehicle cosmetics into character outfits or other Kingdom Hearts content.
