A previously cut American Dad Jam Track appears to have resurfaced in Fortnite’s files, with dataminer FireMonkey uncovering difficulty chart data for “Good Morning U.S.A. (Main Title Theme).” The new file development suggests Epic Games has continued preparing the song after it disappeared from the American Dad collaboration earlier this year. However, Epic has not announced that the track is returning or provided a release date.

FireMonkey shared the newly surfaced Festival difficulty charts on September 8, identifying the track as the 2024 version performed by the American Dad! Cast. That version runs for approximately one minute and 33 seconds and appears on the American Dad! Greatest Hits compilation released by 20th Century Studios in 2024. The presence of Fortnite Festival chart data means playable note arrangements have been prepared for the track, although files alone cannot establish whether Epic currently has plans to sell or distribute it.

“Good Morning U.S.A.” has a more complicated Fortnite history than a normal unreleased Jam Track. When American Dad cosmetics arrived in July, promotional bundle material initially appeared to include the show’s opening theme before the song disappeared from the final offering. The associated bundle artwork was subsequently updated without the Jam Track, leading players and dataminers to conclude that it had been removed late in the collaboration’s rollout.

The July discovery suggested development had already progressed considerably before the track was cut. Images tied to the bundle referenced the song, while community analysis also noted that other American Dad content appeared designed around the familiar theme. Epic never publicly explained why the Jam Track was removed, and there has been no official confirmation that licensing was responsible for the change.

The newly discovered difficulty information is therefore notable because it shows that more complete Fortnite Festival data for the song still exists. Festival Jam Tracks require authored charts across different instrument parts and difficulty levels so players can perform them in the rhythm mode. Epic’s support documentation currently lists Lead, Drums, Vocals and Bass as the standard instrument categories, alongside Pro Lead and Pro Bass where supported.

Finding those charts does not necessarily mean the song is imminent. Fortnite regularly retains partially completed, delayed or unused content in its files, and music releases can be especially difficult to predict because the finished gameplay data and the rights required for commercial distribution are separate issues. Epic could eventually activate the track, continue holding it for a future American Dad return, or leave it unreleased despite the underlying Festival work being complete.

There is currently no official Item Shop listing for “Good Morning U.S.A.” and no announcement placing it in an upcoming Festival rotation. FireMonkey’s discovery also does not provide a confirmed price, release window or revised American Dad bundle configuration. Standard Fortnite Jam Tracks are commonly sold individually, but that does not establish how Epic would distribute this particular song if it returns.

The American Dad collaboration itself has already demonstrated that content can change very late in Fortnite’s release process. The original July bundle reached the point where promotional imagery referenced the song before Epic removed it from the final package. That history makes the newly surfaced chart data more interesting than a completely unknown placeholder, but it also provides a clear reason not to treat the discovery as confirmation of an upcoming launch.

For now, the datamine shows that “Good Morning U.S.A. (Main Title Theme)” has Fortnite Festival difficulty chart data in the game’s files months after the track was cut from the American Dad collaboration. Whether that represents renewed plans to release the song remains unknown. Epic Games has not formally restored the Jam Track, announced an Item Shop date or explained why it was removed from the July bundle.
