Pokémon Pokopia’s Expansion Pass Part 2 has received a new look during Nintendo’s September presentation, revealing more of the content coming later in 2026. The second DLC drop will introduce accessories that can be worn by Pokémon, alongside additional Pokémon to befriend and new furniture for players to use while developing their settlements. Nintendo has not announced a more precise release date beyond late 2026.
The headline addition is the new dress-up system. Pokémon will be able to wear accessories including sunglasses, bowties and other cosmetic items, expanding the customization options beyond decorating towns and changing Ditto’s own appearance. The latest footage shows the system being used across different Pokémon, making Part 2 more focused on personalization than on expanding the game with another major location.
Nintendo has also confirmed that more Pokémon will be added with Part 2. Snubbull had already been teased in earlier promotional material for the Expansion Pass, while the latest footage provides another look at the broader group of Pokémon being introduced alongside the accessory feature. As with the base game, befriending additional species gives players more residents to incorporate into the towns and habitats they build.

New furniture will accompany those additions, giving players more options for decorating their Pokémon utopia. Nintendo has not provided a complete item list yet, but the Expansion Pass has consistently expanded the game’s building and customization systems alongside its new Pokémon. The combination of furniture and wearable accessories makes Part 2 a smaller-scale content drop than the first expansion, but one aimed directly at players who spend much of their time designing and personalizing settlements.
Unlike Part 1, Part 2 will not introduce a new town. Nintendo has explicitly confirmed that the second Expansion Pass release focuses on additional features, Pokémon and furniture rather than another explorable settlement. That distinguishes it from Bubbly Basin, which arrived in August with an underwater environment built around the Dive ability.
Bubbly Basin was the first of three paid DLC releases included in the Pokémon Pokopia Expansion Pass. It expanded the game beneath the water, adding a new town, additional Pokémon, furniture and activities while a free software update made Dive available more broadly. Part 2 shifts away from that exploration-heavy format before Part 3 returns to a larger expansion structure with another new town planned for 2027.
The Expansion Pass was first announced in June and is sold as a single package covering all three content drops rather than as individually purchasable DLC. Nintendo currently lists the pass at $34.99 in the United States, with bonuses including a recipe for dynamic Ditto print blocks and wallpaper. Buyers can also receive 30 rare Pokémetal ingots through a promotional code within the specified redemption period.
Pokémon Pokopia itself launched exclusively for Nintendo Switch 2 in March 2026 and quickly became one of the platform’s notable releases. Pokémon Pokopia sold more than 2.2 million copies within its first four days, demonstrating strong demand for the series’ more relaxed building and life-simulation approach. The game puts players in control of a Ditto transformed into a human-like form as it rebuilds a damaged world alongside other Pokémon.
Its core systems revolve around gathering materials, crafting objects, growing crops, constructing habitats and learning moves from Pokémon to reshape the environment. Players can also invite others into their settlements through local and online multiplayer features, making cosmetic additions such as Part 2’s accessories especially suited to the game’s social and creative focus.
Part 2 of the Pokémon Pokopia Expansion Pass remains scheduled for late 2026 on Nintendo Switch 2. While it will not add another town, the new accessories, Pokémon and furniture give the second DLC wave a clearer identity centered on customization. Part 3 will follow in 2027 and is already confirmed to introduce another new town to explore and rebuild.
