LEVEL-5 has announced Inazuma Eleven: Bold Revolution, a new sequel to Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road. The game was revealed during the LEVEL5 VISION 2026 II presentation on September 10, giving the long-running football RPG series another new project less than a year after Victory Road launched. LEVEL-5 has not yet announced a release date, supported platforms or pricing for the sequel.

The announcement confirms that Bold Revolution is being positioned as a new game rather than another major content update for Victory Road. That is notable because Victory Road has continued receiving substantial post-launch support throughout 2026, including multiple free major updates and additions to Chronicle Mode. LEVEL-5 has also continued expanding the broader franchise with mobile title Inazuma Eleven: Cross, making Bold Revolution part of an increasingly busy development slate for the series.

Victory Road itself launched on November 13, 2025 for Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S and PC. The game combined a new story campaign with Chronicle Mode, which brings together characters from across the franchise’s history, as well as online competitive modes and team-building systems. LEVEL-5 has spent much of 2026 adding new features and content, including Synergies, Seasonal Players and additional Chronicle routes through free updates.

Bold Revolution appears set to continue directly from that foundation rather than rebooting the series again. LEVEL-5’s reveal identifies it as a sequel to Victory Road, although the company has so far shared only limited information about its story and gameplay structure. The announcement footage introduces a new project identity and suggests another major narrative entry, but LEVEL-5 has not yet detailed how much of Victory Road’s systems, characters or progression will carry forward.

The decision to move ahead with a sequel is particularly interesting because Victory Road was originally presented as a broad, long-term Inazuma Eleven project built around both new characters and the franchise’s history. Its Chronicle Mode was designed to encompass thousands of characters, while ongoing updates have continued expanding the game’s competitive and story content. Bold Revolution therefore raises questions about how LEVEL-5 plans to divide future support between the existing game and the newly announced sequel.

The new project also arrives while LEVEL-5 is developing several other Inazuma Eleven releases. Inazuma Eleven RE, a remake of the original game, is still planned for 2026 on Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5 and PC, while Inazuma Eleven: Cross launched for iOS and Android in June. That puts Bold Revolution alongside both a remake and an active mobile spin-off, rather than replacing the franchise’s other current projects outright.

LEVEL-5 has been similarly active across its other properties. The company recently announced projects including Yo-kai Watch 2: Haunted Domain and a Professor Layton and the Curious Village remake, while also continuing post-launch development for Fantasy Life i. That wider slate makes Bold Revolution one of several new or returning franchises currently moving through LEVEL-5’s production pipeline.

For now, most of the practical details surrounding Inazuma Eleven: Bold Revolution remain unknown. LEVEL-5 has not confirmed when it will launch, which platforms it will target or whether any Victory Road save data and online systems will connect to the sequel. The September 10 reveal does, however, establish that Victory Road will not be the end of the current Inazuma Eleven storyline, with LEVEL-5 already preparing a direct follow-up under the Bold Revolution name.
