A new piece of Grand Theft Auto VI artwork has surfaced through Target, tied to the retailer’s exclusive edition of Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album. GTA specialist videotech highlighted the image on September 18 after it appeared through the retailer, expanding the collection of official promotional artwork being released around Rockstar Games and Atlantic Records’ newly announced soundtrack. The artwork is connected to an authorized retail product rather than an unverified leak, with Rockstar having already confirmed Target as one of several retailers receiving exclusive album variants. The Target artwork arrives as Rockstar rapidly expands GTA VI’s visual material through its soundtrack campaign. Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album was formally announced on September 17 as a 34-track collection of original music created in partnership with Atlantic Records, with the album scheduled to launch alongside GTA VI on November 19. Rockstar has also confirmed multiple physical versions of the soundtrack, while participating retailers including Target, Walmart, Amazon, Best Buy, Barnes & Noble and others are receiving distinct vinyl editions with different designs and artwork. The latest Target image therefore appears to be part of that broader retail rollout rather than a standalone piece released through Rockstar’s regular GTA VI artwork gallery. Other physical editions have likewise been associated with exclusive visuals and packaging, making the retailer pages an additional source of previously unseen GTA VI illustrations as individual variants become available. A compilation published shortly after the album announcement documented multiple pieces of GTA VI artwork connected to the music campaign, while some retailer-specific material continued to emerge afterward. Rockstar’s soundtrack announcement followed several days of coordinated GTA VI promotion involving musicians featured on the project. Artists including Travis Scott, Future, Morgan Wallen, Yung Lean, PinkPantheress and Keith Richards shared GTA VI-styled imagery before Rockstar formally revealed the album, while Spotify branding also appeared in a wider promotional campaign. That activity eventually led into the confirmation of Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album and its 34 original tracks, clarifying the purpose behind much of the music-focused marketing. RockstarINTEL +1

Six songs from the album have already been identified, including Travis Scott’s “RHYNO,” Yung Lean’s “That’s It” featuring Future and Metro Boomin, Morgan Wallen’s “Last Thing You Need,” and Keith Richards’ “Bright Lights, Big City.” Rockstar has said additional information about GTA VI’s music will follow, including details concerning its dynamic score and the next evolution of the series’ in-game radio. The album campaign has consequently become a significant part of Rockstar’s final promotional stretch before the game’s release rather than simply a separate merchandise launch. Rockstar Games +1

The Target artwork is particularly notable because some retailer editions were still awaiting full reveals after the soundtrack announcement. A September 18 overview of the physical releases noted that Target and Urban Outfitters variants had not yet been shown even as several other editions were already public, placing the newly surfaced image after that initial wave of retailer reveals. Rockstar has increasingly used artwork and music to build out GTA VI’s depiction of Vice City and the wider state of Leonida ahead of launch. The soundtrack campaign has also included GTA VI Spotify billboards appearing across major US cities, reinforcing how closely the game’s current marketing is tied to music. With different retailers receiving their own physical album variants and accompanying artwork, additional illustrations may surface as the remaining editions are fully listed ahead of the November 19 release.
