ShiinaBR said on September 21 that the Child’s Play character is “likely” to be part of this year’s Halloween event, citing information shared with FNBRintel. Epic Games has not announced a Chucky collaboration, so the crossover remains unconfirmed.
The report does not currently specify how Chucky would appear in Fortnite. There is no confirmed information about whether the character would be released as an Outfit, Back Bling, Sidekick or another type of cosmetic, nor have pricing or release details surfaced. Given Chucky’s unusually small proportions compared with Fortnite’s standard player models, the form of the collaboration would be one of the biggest unanswered questions if the leak proves accurate.
The claim adds another horror property to the growing list of collaborations reportedly connected to Fortnitemares 2026. A separate leak has pointed to Five Nights at Freddy’s appearing during Fortnitemares, while Black Clover has also been linked to the Halloween event. Those reports remain subject to change until Epic publicly confirms its full Fortnitemares lineup.
Chucky would be a natural fit for Fortnite’s expanding collection of horror crossovers. Previous Fortnitemares events have brought characters and franchises from horror films, television and games into Fortnite, allowing Epic to use its annual Halloween period as a showcase for darker crossover content. Chucky, the murderous Good Guy doll introduced in the Child’s Play franchise, would add another recognizable horror character to that group.
How Epic would adapt the character to Fortnite’s gameplay remains unclear. The game has previously used unconventional character proportions through specialized models, cosmetics and companion-style items, but there is no reliable information yet indicating which approach would be used for Chucky. Any claims about a specific cosmetic type should therefore be treated as speculation until files, promotional material or an official announcement provide more detail.
The timing of the report is also notable because Fortnitemares is approaching and Fortnite leak accounts have begun circulating a broader set of Halloween-related collaboration claims. Fortnitemares has traditionally served as Fortnite’s annual Halloween event, introducing themed cosmetics, gameplay changes and limited-time content.
