Fortnite’s rumored Black Clover collaboration is reportedly planned to arrive during Fortnitemares 2026. Fortnite leaker ShiinaBR shared the new release-window claim on September 17, attributing the information to SamLeakss, who had already reported several days earlier that Black Clover was coming to Fortnite “very soon.” Epic Games has not announced the crossover or confirmed any release date, so the Fortnitemares timing remains an unverified leak.

The Black Clover collaboration first surfaced on September 13, when SamLeakss claimed that the anime property was expected to join Fortnite soon and later indicated that the crossover was planned for the current season. Other Fortnite leak accounts subsequently circulated Black Clover among a wider list of expected 2026 collaborations. At the time, however, there was no narrower indication of when during the season the content might arrive.

The latest claim places that release during Fortnitemares, Fortnite’s annual Halloween event. That would put Black Clover alongside a growing group of properties linked to Epic’s late-season event, including Five Nights at Freddy’s, which has also been reported for Fortnitemares 2026. Epic has yet to publish the complete Fortnitemares lineup, leaving the extent of this year’s crossover content unclear.

No Black Clover skins, accessories or gameplay items have been reliably detailed so far. Characters such as Asta, Yuno and Noelle Silva would be obvious candidates for cosmetic Outfits, but no confirmed roster has surfaced and those possibilities remain speculation. There is also no indication yet whether the collaboration would extend beyond the Item Shop into quests, weapons, map content or a larger gameplay event.

That lack of detail distinguishes the Black Clover leak from some of Fortnite’s more advanced upcoming collaborations. Pac-Man, for example, progressed from general crossover reports to leaked promotional material showing its Sidekick and additional cosmetics before its release window became clearer. The Pac-Man crossover leak eventually pointed to a September 18 rollout, illustrating how Fortnite collaborations can become substantially more detailed as encrypted assets and promotional material reach the live build.

Black Clover would also continue Fortnite’s long-running expansion into anime properties. Epic has previously collaborated with Dragon Ball, Naruto, My Hero Academia, Jujutsu Kaisen and Attack on Titan, among others. The game has increasingly used major anime franchises for full cosmetic sets rather than isolated promotional items, although there is currently no evidence establishing how extensive Black Clover’s implementation would be.

The timing could be particularly notable because Fortnitemares traditionally combines Halloween-themed map changes, cosmetics, quests and limited-time gameplay additions. A Black Clover release during that window would not necessarily mean the anime itself is directly tied to the event’s horror theme; Fortnite frequently launches unrelated collaborations while seasonal events are running. The leaked timing should therefore be understood as a release window rather than evidence that Black Clover will form part of Fortnitemares’ story or gameplay.

The current information ultimately rests on leaker reporting rather than an Epic announcement. SamLeakss’ earlier September 13 claim established Black Clover as one of the collaborations allegedly planned for the current Fortnite season, while the newer report narrows that expectation to Fortnitemares. Epic Games has not listed Black Clover on its official Fortnite channels at the time of writing.

Until official assets, Item Shop data or an Epic announcement emerge, the crossover’s characters, cosmetics, price and exact release date remain unknown. If the latest leak proves accurate, Black Clover should make its Fortnite debut sometime during Fortnitemares 2026 rather than arriving immediately with the September wave of collaborations.
