Monster Hunter Outlanders will officially launch on October 29, 2026, giving Capcom and TiMi Studio Group’s mobile Monster Hunter title its first confirmed global release date. The announcement was made through the game’s official English account, which said hunting and exploration will begin on Aesoland on October 29. The mainland Chinese version is scheduled to begin releasing from 2027 onward.
The dated launch marks a shift from the broader 2026 window that had previously been attached to Outlanders. The game’s official website had been accepting pre-registrations while continuing to promote new characters, monsters and gameplay features without specifying a final launch day. The October 29 announcement now gives players outside mainland China a concrete date to prepare for the mobile hunting adventure.
Monster Hunter Outlanders is being developed by TiMi Studio Group under a license from Capcom and is designed specifically for iOS and Android devices. The game combines familiar Monster Hunter weapons and large-scale hunts with a new open-world structure centered on Aesoland, an island featuring different environments, resources and monsters. Players can explore the world, gather materials, build facilities and hunt alongside companions.

The game also introduces original Adventurers and Buddies alongside returning elements from the wider Monster Hunter series. Its roster includes familiar monsters such as Rathalos and Pink Rathian, while Radiant Species provide altered versions with different appearances and abilities. The developers have also created original creatures for Outlanders, including the Elder Dragon Ruger Aidal, which was introduced during the game’s recent promotional campaign.
The October 29 launch follows multiple rounds of testing as TiMi and Capcom have prepared the game for its worldwide release. Three closed beta tests have taken place, giving selected players opportunities to try the mobile combat, exploration and progression systems before launch. Global pre-registration subsequently opened through the App Store, Google Play and the official game website.
The final release date also clarifies the status of store listings that had previously displayed provisional dates. Apple’s App Store listings had shown December 15, 2026 as an expected date in some regions, but those entries did not represent a confirmed publisher launch announcement. The official October 29 announcement supersedes those estimates for the global release schedule.
Outlanders is built around a free-to-play model with in-app purchases, while its mobile design adapts the traditional Monster Hunter formula for touch controls and shorter sessions. The game supports hunting and exploration with other players and includes systems for gathering resources and developing facilities across its world. Its broader structure is intended to make Aesoland a persistent environment rather than simply a series of disconnected hunting locations.
Players in mainland China will not receive the game on the same schedule as the broader global release. The official announcement specifically states that the mainland Chinese version is planned to begin releasing from 2027, leaving October 29 as the launch date for the global version.
With the release now dated, the remaining pre-launch period gives TiMi and Capcom time to continue revealing launch content and preparing the mobile version for players. Monster Hunter Outlanders will arrive on iOS and Android on October 29, while the mainland Chinese rollout is scheduled for the following year.
