Warhammer Survivors will launch on November 10, 2026, with developer Auroch Digital also revealing two more playable characters from the Warhammer 40,000 and Warhammer Age of Sigmar universes. The release date was announced through PlayStation alongside a new trailer spotlighting Morvenn Vahl and Lyssa Revenya. More than 40 playable champions are planned for the full game.
Morvenn Vahl represents the Warhammer 40,000 side of the roster. The High Abbess Sanctorum enters battle inside her Paragon Warsuit and starts with Fidelis, a Heavy Bolter that fires an arc of projectiles across approaching enemy hordes. Successful attacks can trigger a miracle that temporarily increases its firing rate, giving Vahl a character-specific mechanic built around sustained ranged damage.
Fidelis can eventually evolve into Purgator Mirabilis, expanding Vahl’s offensive options by bringing the Paragon Missile Launcher into play. Once evolved, the weapon adds periodic missile salvos and explosions while retaining the Heavy Bolter’s projectile fire. That combination fits Warhammer Survivors’ broader progression structure, in which familiar Warhammer weapons can be upgraded or evolved during a run into more destructive forms.

Lyssa Revenya comes from Warhammer Age of Sigmar and takes a considerably different approach. The Saviours of Cinderfall member uses her Rope and Grapnel, with hooks entering from the edges of the screen, hitting selected points on the battlefield and damaging enemies along the way. Surviving targets can also be dragged across the arena, giving the ability a crowd-control component beyond straightforward damage.
Evolving Lyssa’s weapon summons the Ghost of Rhea, the spirit of her former ally and mentor. Rhea moves across the battlefield before erupting into damaging spectral fog, opening the possibility of combining Lyssa’s grappling attacks with the ghost’s area-of-effect damage. Auroch Digital describes the two newly revealed characters as deliberately different examples of how individual champions will change the way a run plays.
The complete roster will span both of Warhammer’s major settings. Previously announced characters include Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun protagonist Malum Caedo, Marneus Calgar, Commissar Yarrick and Knight-Commander Pask, while the Age of Sigmar side includes Neave Blacktalon, Gotrek Gurnisson and other heroes from the Mortal Realms. Auroch says Morvenn Vahl and Lyssa Revenya are only two of more than 40 champions available in the finished game.
Warhammer Survivors is being developed by Auroch Digital in partnership with Games Workshop and poncle, the studio behind Vampire Survivors. Rather than functioning as a Vampire Survivors expansion, it is a standalone game using the same broad survivors-style formula: players move through increasingly dense enemy hordes, gain experience, choose upgrades and gradually assemble stronger weapon combinations over the course of each run. Its stages draw from both Warhammer 40,000 and Age of Sigmar, including environments such as Space Hulks and the Mortal Realms.
Enemy factions already confirmed include Tyranids, Orks and Death Guard from Warhammer 40,000 alongside Skaven and the Blades of Khorne from Age of Sigmar. The game also incorporates deliberately playful references to the tabletop hobby, with items such as a pot of Nuln Oil appearing alongside recognizable weapons including boltguns, chainswords and whirlwind axes. Boss-style encounters, hidden secrets and collectible elements are also being incorporated into the progression system.
The November 10 launch is planned across PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, Switch 2 and PC, with mobile versions also announced for iOS and Android. The game is priced at $7.99 in the United States, with Xbox Game Pass availability also planned at launch. PlayStation pre-orders are now open, with PlayStation Plus subscribers receiving a 10% pre-order discount.
A new PC demo is also available ahead of release, giving players another opportunity to test the game’s updated balancing and systems before the full version arrives. With the release date now locked and more than 40 characters promised, Auroch Digital still has substantial portions of the roster left to reveal before Warhammer Survivors launches on November 10.
