Fortnite has fueled speculation that One Piece and Chainsaw Man could be among its future crossover partners after the game’s official social account responded directly to a fan post featuring characters from both franchises. The reply, posted on October 6, showed a ticket dispenser with the message “please take a number,” which fans quickly interpreted as a suggestion that the requested collaborations are waiting their turn. Epic Games has not formally announced either crossover.
The original fan-made image featured Monkey D. Luffy from One Piece, Denji from Chainsaw Man and Tanjiro Kamado from Demon Slayer waiting for their chance to appear in Fortnite. Asta from Black Clover was depicted as being called ahead of them, referencing a collaboration that has already reached the game. Fortnite’s response did not single out any individual franchise, so the post should be treated as a broad tease rather than confirmation that specific characters, cosmetics or release dates have been finalized.
The timing is particularly notable for One Piece because reports and leaks surrounding a Fortnite crossover have intensified in recent weeks. Leakers have claimed that One Piece could be the focus of the mini-season scheduled to begin on November 1 and close out Chapter 7. Those claims remain unofficial, but Epic’s decision to engage directly with a post featuring Luffy gives players their clearest public hint yet that the franchise is on Fortnite’s radar.

Chainsaw Man has also been linked to Fortnite before the latest tease. Earlier leaks claimed a collaboration was in development, although no reliable release date or confirmed cosmetic lineup emerged from those reports. Fortnite’s social reply therefore adds another piece of evidence without establishing when or how Denji and other Chainsaw Man characters could eventually appear in the game.
Demon Slayer is worth noting as well because Tanjiro was present in the same fan image. Epic’s reply does not clarify whether all three franchises were being acknowledged equally, and there is currently no formal announcement tying Demon Slayer to an upcoming Fortnite event. The safest interpretation is that Fortnite deliberately played into fan requests for several anime collaborations without committing publicly to any one of them.
Epic has used social-media teases before revealing crossover content, but those posts can vary significantly in how literal they are. A reply such as this is stronger than an unrelated community joke because it came directly from the official Fortnite account in response to a specific crossover request. It still stops short of the kind of confirmation that would normally include character artwork, Item Shop dates, event information or an official Fortnite blog post.
Fortnite has continued expanding its anime crossover lineup over the past several chapters, with franchises including Dragon Ball, Naruto, Jujutsu Kaisen, My Hero Academia and others already represented in the game. More recent crossover leaks have included Cyberpunk: Edgerunners cosmetics and detailed Persona content, illustrating how aggressively Epic continues to add outside properties to Fortnite’s cosmetic ecosystem.
The game is currently in the middle of Fortnitemares 2026, which has already introduced or promoted several horror and entertainment collaborations. That event is expected to run into the transition toward Fortnite’s next mini-season, making late October and early November a likely window for Epic to reveal whatever crossover will anchor the final phase of Chapter 7. If reports about One Piece are accurate, a formal announcement could arrive relatively soon.
For now, however, One Piece and Chainsaw Man remain teased rather than confirmed. Epic Games has not announced skins, bundles, release dates or gameplay content for either franchise, and nothing in the social-media reply establishes the scope of a possible collaboration. The post does make the possibility harder to dismiss, particularly for One Piece, which has already been the subject of repeated reports about Fortnite’s upcoming mini-season.
