Rockstar Games has released the official launch trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI, offering a new look at the upcoming open-world game ahead of its November 19, 2026 release on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The 90-second trailer features footage captured entirely in-game on a PlayStation 5, alongside original music from electronic duo Justice.
Released on October 15, the trailer revisits Vice City and the fictional state of Leonida, where protagonists Jason and Lucia become caught in a criminal conspiracy after a robbery goes wrong. The footage provides another look at the game’s characters, environments, and cinematic presentation as its release approaches.
Rockstar’s official description emphasizes the relationship between Jason and Lucia, who must increasingly depend on one another as the consequences of their failed robbery spread across Leonida. The trailer builds on the game’s previously established story rather than introducing a separate storyline.

The accompanying music is another significant part of the announcement. The trailer debuts “Flower in a Hurricane,” a new standalone single from Justice featuring Tame Impala, SZA, and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard. Rockstar has also confirmed that Justice composed the game’s original score.
The song is included on Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album, the official soundtrack collection featuring 34 original tracks. The album is available to pre-save through major music streaming services, with vinyl and CD preorders also available. Rockstar says additional information about Justice’s official score album will be shared later.
The launch trailer follows the 26-minute extended look released on August 27, which provided a more substantial preview of the game’s world and gameplay. Unlike that longer presentation, the latest trailer concentrates on the central characters, story atmosphere, and music.
Rockstar has maintained the November 19 release date for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. A PC release date has not been announced.
The new trailer arrives just over a month before launch, giving players another official preview of Vice City and Jason and Lucia’s story before Grand Theft Auto VI becomes available.
