Rocket League has officially teased a Five Nights at Freddy’s crossover for Halloween 2026, revealing Freddy Fazbear in a short promotional video shared on October 20. The announcement points to a horror-themed collaboration arriving during the game’s Halloween season, although specific event details have not yet been revealed.
The teaser, published through Rocket League’s official social media account, presents what appears to be security camera footage from an arena. A ball rolls into the goal before Freddy Fazbear suddenly appears, creating a jumpscare inspired by the Five Nights at Freddy’s horror franchise.
Rocket League accompanied the footage with the message, “We found something strange in the Arena security footage last night…”

The brief video confirms Freddy Fazbear’s involvement but leaves several questions unanswered. Rocket League has not detailed the crossover’s release date, available rewards, Item Shop offerings or potential gameplay changes.
Freddy’s appearance inside the goal could suggest a themed goal explosion, although the footage does not establish whether the sequence represents an obtainable cosmetic or was created specifically for the announcement.
The collaboration is expected to be connected to Rocket League’s annual Haunted Hallows Halloween celebrations. However, the developer has not yet provided a complete event schedule or confirmed which Five Nights at Freddy’s characters and items will be available.
Rocket League has featured several gaming collaborations in recent months. Its Persona 5 crossover event introduced themed challenges and rewards alongside the Mona Car Bundle, while the Kingdom Hearts event brought additional challenges, cosmetic rewards and a Gummi Ship bundle.
Those earlier events demonstrate the types of crossover content Rocket League has offered, but they do not confirm that the Five Nights at Freddy’s collaboration will follow the same format.
The announcement also follows Five Nights at Freddy’s participation in Fortnitemares 2026, which brought characters from the horror franchise into Epic Games’ battle royale as part of its Halloween celebrations.
For Rocket League players, the teaser establishes that another major gaming franchise is joining the game’s seasonal collaborations. Details about the crossover’s cosmetics, pricing, challenges and availability remain unannounced.
