A One Piece collaboration could be arriving in Fortnite’s upcoming Treasure Hunters mini-season, according to a new claim from prominent Fortnite leaker HYPEX. The October 24 report follows Epic Games’ official reveal of its pirate-themed season, which begins November 1, 2026.
HYPEX stated that One Piece is coming to Fortnite next season, renewing speculation about a crossover involving Monkey D. Luffy and the Straw Hat Pirates. Although the claim aligns with recently revealed pirate imagery, Epic Games has not officially announced a One Piece collaboration or confirmed which characters might appear.
The latest development centers on imagery associated with Fortnite’s Treasure Hunters announcement. An in-game news feed graphic reportedly features a skull-and-crossbones emblem resembling the Straw Hat Pirates’ Jolly Roger, alongside several other pirate crew symbols. The resemblance has attracted attention because the Straw Hat emblem is closely associated with Luffy’s crew in the manga and anime.

However, the apparent emblem does not exactly reproduce the familiar Straw Hat design, and its appearance alone does not establish that One Piece content will be included. The connection remains an interpretation of the promotional imagery rather than an explicit announcement from Epic.
The new claim builds on several weeks of crossover speculation. Earlier reports from leakers including SamLeakss suggested that One Piece content was being prepared for Fortnite, potentially alongside content for Rocket League. On October 15, Fortnite’s v42.40 update introduced a mysterious pirate chest that dataminers connected to the rumored crossover, although the chest itself contained no definitive One Piece branding.
Additional leaks have described multiple pirate crews competing over treasure in the upcoming season. HYPEX previously suggested that these groups could include crews associated with A$AP Rocky, Lil Uzi Vert, Jonesy and Hope, with a possible crew led by Luffy appearing later. These details have not been fully confirmed, and it remains unclear whether the crews represent gameplay factions, cosmetic themes or promotional storytelling.
Epic has meanwhile confirmed that the next Fortnite mini-season is called Treasure Hunters. Its October 24 teaser introduced a treasure-map presentation, pirate imagery and the November 1 launch date. The official reveal establishes the setting and timing but does not identify One Piece as a participating franchise.
Speculation about the crossover also predates the Treasure Hunters announcement. Earlier in October, an official Fortnite response to fan requests for One Piece and Chainsaw Man prompted discussion after Epic shared an image suggesting the requested collaborations should take a number. That interaction did not confirm either franchise would appear.
For players, the key unanswered questions concern the potential character lineup and how the collaboration would be distributed. Neither Luffy nor any other One Piece character has been officially announced as a playable outfit. Epic has also not disclosed whether any related cosmetics would appear in the Battle Pass, Item Shop or a separate event.
Treasure Hunters is scheduled to begin November 1, but that date should not be treated as a confirmed release date for One Piece content. Until Epic provides a specific announcement, the crossover remains a supported rumor rather than a confirmed feature of Fortnite’s next season.
