Epic Games has revealed Treasure Hunters, Fortnite’s next mini-season, confirming a November 1, 2026 launch and introducing a pirate-inspired treasure-hunting theme. The announcement arrived on October 24 through a short official teaser that revealed the season’s name and release date.
The teaser features a stylized Fortnite logo, Japanese lettering, a skull-decorated treasure chest and a parchment-style map. Its final title card identifies the upcoming season as Treasure Hunters, accompanied by the tagline “The Greatest Adventure of All Time.” Epic’s accompanying social media post also displays the date as “11.1.”
Treasure Hunters will follow Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4, known as Override. Epic’s official Battle Pass page confirms that the current season ends on November 1, 2026, Eastern Time. The developer has separately identified November 1 as the target date for update v43.00 in its developer community announcements.

The new season’s promotional material points toward a pirate adventure built around treasure chests, maps and nautical imagery. Earlier promotional artwork displayed in cities including Madrid and Tokyo featured anime-inspired characters alongside messages encouraging players to search for treasure.
However, Epic has not yet detailed how the treasure-hunting theme will translate into Battle Royale gameplay. The developer has not confirmed the new island’s locations, available weapons, treasure-hunting mechanics or the contents of the upcoming Battle Pass.
The announcement follows several teasers connected to the November season. Rap artists A$AP Rocky and Lil Uzi Vert have appeared in promotional material featuring pirate imagery, while separate teasers have generated speculation about additional characters and collaborations.
One of the most prominent rumors concerns a potential One Piece crossover. Pirate flags and anime-inspired promotional artwork have fueled speculation about characters from the franchise appearing in Fortnite, but Epic has not officially announced a One Piece collaboration as part of Treasure Hunters. The rumored crossover therefore remains unconfirmed.
There are also questions about which existing Battle Royale features will carry over. A recent datamine suggested that Sprites could continue into the mini-season, potentially with additional variants. Epic has not confirmed those changes, and the Treasure Hunters reveal does not establish whether the current Sprite mechanics will remain available.
For players currently progressing through Override, the November 1 transition also marks the end of the existing Battle Pass. Players seeking its remaining rewards will need to complete the relevant progression requirements before the season ends.
Epic has not announced the exact launch time, scheduled server downtime, Treasure Hunters Battle Pass pricing or the mini-season’s end date. Those details remain outstanding following the October 24 reveal.
