Turtle Beach has officially launched its Stealth Flip Wireless Controller, a $99.99 PC gaming controller featuring reversible thumbstick modules that reveal dual capacitive touchpads. The controller became available through participating retailers worldwide on October 27, 2026, alongside the company’s new Rematch Wireless PC Controller.

According to Turtle Beach’s official announcement, the Stealth Flip combines traditional analog controls with touch-based input, allowing players to switch between thumbsticks and touchpads without replacing hardware. It also includes Hall-Effect thumbsticks, a dedicated Windows navigation trackpad, and support for polling rates up to 1,000Hz when connected to a PC through USB.

The Stealth Flip’s defining feature is its Flip-to-Touchpad design. Each analog stick module can be flipped over to expose a capacitive touchpad, giving players two different input methods within the same controller. The touchpads offer an alternative to conventional analog movement, potentially making the controller useful for PC games where touch-based control is preferable.

A separate trackpad provides cursor movement and Windows navigation without requiring players to reach for a mouse. This distinguishes the Stealth Flip from conventional controllers designed primarily around analog sticks and face buttons.

The combination of analog and touch controls also gives the Stealth Flip a different approach to customization than competing PC controllers. The Razer Wolverine V4 Pro, for example, emphasizes modular hardware and up to 8,000Hz PC polling, while Turtle Beach focuses on switching between physical thumbsticks and touch-sensitive surfaces.

Beyond its reversible controls, the Stealth Flip uses Turtle Beach’s AntiDrift Hall-Effect thumbsticks, which rely on magnetic sensing technology to reduce the mechanical wear associated with conventional potentiometer-based sticks.

The controller also features adjustable two-position trigger stops, tactile microswitch buttons, two programmable rear buttons, and four onboard profiles. Players can configure button assignments, macros, thumbstick response curves, and firmware settings through Turtle Beach’s Swarm II desktop software.

For competitive PC gaming, Turtle Beach advertises a maximum wired polling rate of 1,000Hz. This represents a nominal input polling interval of 1ms, although actual input latency and responsiveness depend on additional factors beyond polling frequency.

The 1,000Hz specification applies to wired PC operation, and Turtle Beach has not advertised an equivalent wireless polling rate for the Stealth Flip. The controller enters a market that also includes the Brook StarRay controller, which combines Hall-Effect thumbsticks with 1,000Hz wired PC polling.

Connectivity options include low-latency wireless through the included USB transmitter, Bluetooth, and a USB-C wired connection. Turtle Beach lists compatibility with Windows 10 and Windows 11 PCs, Android 8.0 or newer devices, and supported smart TVs.

The controller is intended primarily for PC gaming and compatible mobile or television platforms. Turtle Beach does not list native PlayStation 5, Xbox console, or Nintendo Switch compatibility for the Stealth Flip.

Battery life is rated at up to 20 hours per charge, with wired play-and-charge support available through the included 3-meter USB-A to USB-C cable. A 3.5mm headset jack provides stereo audio output and microphone input, alongside Turtle Beach’s audio tuning features.

The Stealth Flip weighs approximately 290 grams and measures 161.3 × 67.2 × 108mm. Turtle Beach includes the controller, a wireless USB transmitter, a USB cable, and a quick-start guide in the package.

The controller is available at a suggested retail price of $99.99 in the United States, €99.99 in Europe, and £89.99 in the United Kingdom.

Turtle Beach also launched the Rematch Wireless PC Controller on October 27 for $59.99. That model uses TMR thumbsticks instead of the Stealth Flip’s reversible analog and touchpad arrangement. It supports polling rates up to 1,000Hz over wired and 2.4GHz wireless connections with audio disabled, dropping to 500Hz when audio is enabled.

For PC gamers considering the Stealth Flip, the primary difference is its ability to provide both conventional gamepad input and dual touchpad controls in one device. Turtle Beach has confirmed the controller’s availability and specifications, although independent testing would be needed to establish how its touchpad implementation and input latency compare with other PC controllers.
