Rocket League is teaming up with One Piece for a limited-time crossover event beginning November 1, 2026, at 9 AM PT. Officially announced on October 30, the event introduces Straw Hat Crew-themed challenges, earnable customization items and new cosmetics in the Item Shop. Players will have until November 23 at 9 AM PT to complete the event’s challenges and collect its rewards.
The collaboration brings several recognizable elements from One Piece into Rocket League, including Monkey D. Luffy’s signature straw hat and the Going Merry pirate ship. Rather than introducing new playable characters, the crossover focuses on vehicle customization and rewards earned through online matches.
One of the main rewards is Luffy’s Straw Hat Topper, which players can unlock by scoring a hat trick in an online match. The item allows players to equip Luffy’s distinctive hat on their vehicles.

Additional challenges reward the Straw Hat Crew Boost and Going Merry Sea Trail. The Boost features a design inspired by the Straw Hat Pirates’ wanted posters and can be earned by completing centers and clears during matches. The Going Merry Sea Trail, meanwhile, is unlocked by accumulating points in online matches and incorporates the crew’s famous ship into a vehicle trail.
Players can also earn a One Piece Antenna and two Player Banners by completing event challenges. Up to five Treasure Chests are available through online play, providing additional rewards throughout the event.
Alongside the challenge rewards, Rocket League’s Item Shop will introduce several paid One Piece-themed customization options starting November 1. These include Luffy and Going Merry Decals for the Octane and Fennec, themed Wheels and the High Tides Goal Explosion.
Another addition arrives on November 7, when the Mercedes-AMG G 63 enters the Item Shop with One Piece Decals. Rocket League has confirmed the vehicle’s release date but has not specified prices for the crossover cosmetics in its announcement.
The One Piece collaboration follows Rocket League’s Five Nights at Freddy's Halloween crossover, which brought another popular entertainment franchise into the game’s seasonal event lineup. The Halloween event runs through November 2, creating a brief overlap with the opening days of the One Piece collaboration.
The Rocket League event also arrives amid wider One Piece crossover activity in Epic Games’ gaming ecosystem. Fortnite has been preparing its rumored One Piece collaboration for the Treasure Hunters season, with promotional posters featuring Luffy and Ace appearing ahead of the November 1 mini-season launch. Those Fortnite developments remain separate from Rocket League’s officially confirmed event.
Rocket League players interested in the free One Piece rewards will need to complete the relevant challenges before the event concludes on November 23. The themed Item Shop offerings begin rolling out November 1, with the Mercedes-AMG G 63 following on November 7.
