Look Outside is now available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch, publisher Devolver Digital confirmed on October 30, 2026. Developed by Francis Coulombe, the survival-horror RPG is priced at $9.99 across its new console platforms, following its original PC release on March 21, 2025.

The console launch arrives one week after Devolver Digital confirmed the October 30 release date. The publisher also released a launch trailer showcasing the game’s pixel-art visuals, unsettling environments and survival mechanics.

Look Outside takes place entirely within an apartment building following a mysterious event that transforms anyone who looks out a window into a grotesque monster. Players must survive inside the building while investigating the disaster, gathering supplies and interacting with the remaining inhabitants.

Exploration revolves around leaving the relative safety of the player’s apartment to search neighboring rooms and corridors for food, weapons and crafting materials. These expeditions introduce encounters with hostile creatures and unusual characters, including potential allies who can be recruited.

Between expeditions, players return home to recover and manage their resources. Activities include preparing meals, crafting tools, playing games and developing relationships with surviving neighbors. The apartment serves as a safe space between increasingly dangerous trips through the building.

Combat uses a turn-based system that considers the distance between characters and enemies. Players can encounter more than 150 individually designed creatures, requiring them to manage equipment and available resources while navigating the building.

According to the game’s official description, Look Outside offers approximately 10 to 12 hours of gameplay, around a dozen boss encounters and multiple endings. Its branching interactions and recruitable characters allow different outcomes depending on the player’s decisions.

The October 30 release expands the game’s availability beyond Steam, giving PlayStation and Nintendo players access to the complete apartment-building survival experience. No Xbox version was included in Devolver Digital’s console launch announcement.

Look Outside joins several horror games arriving on consoles around Halloween, including Mouthwashing's October 29 console release and The Outlast Trials' arrival on Nintendo Switch 2 earlier in the week.

Look Outside is available now for $9.99 on PS5, PS4, Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch, alongside its existing PC version.
