Phantom Blade Zero has sold more than four million copies within its first 72 hours, developer S-GAME announced on November 1, 2026. The milestone marks a significant commercial debut for the Unreal Engine 5 action RPG, which launched digitally for PlayStation 5 and PC on October 29.
The official sales announcement follows an exceptionally strong opening weekend on Steam. Phantom Blade Zero recently reached 833,921 concurrent players on Steam, demonstrating substantial activity on Valve’s platform. Unlike concurrent player figures, which measure how many users are playing simultaneously, S-GAME’s newly announced four-million-unit total provides a direct measure of the game’s commercial performance.
The sales milestone covers the game’s launch across multiple platforms rather than Steam alone. Phantom Blade Zero is available on PlayStation 5, Steam and the Epic Games Store, although S-GAME has not disclosed how the four million copies are distributed between individual storefronts or platforms.

Before release, market research firm Alinea Analytics estimated that Phantom Blade Zero had accumulated approximately 850,000 pre-sales across Steam and PlayStation 5. Analyst Rhys Elliott suggested the total was already well above one million when sales through Tencent’s WeGame platform in China were considered. Those figures were independent estimates, whereas the four-million milestone comes directly from the developer.
The game’s commercial performance follows a launch that attracted considerable attention for its martial arts combat and presentation. Early critical reviews praised its combat systems, boss encounters and exploration, although some reviewers raised concerns about storytelling and technical performance.
S-GAME also released a substantial day-one update addressing performance issues, including ray tracing improvements on PC. The game’s technical demands have been an important consideration for players using modern Radeon and GeForce hardware.
Phantom Blade Zero follows Soul, a warrior framed for his master’s death who has only 66 days to live. Its combat combines traditional Chinese martial arts with a fantasy setting inspired by wuxia fiction, featuring more than 30 weapons and over 20 special Phantom Edge weapons.
The game is currently available digitally on PC and PlayStation 5. A physical PlayStation 5 edition is planned for 2027.
With more than four million copies sold in three days, Phantom Blade Zero has now established an official sales milestone alongside its substantial Steam launch figures. S-GAME has not yet provided a detailed platform-by-platform sales breakdown or announced another sales target.
