Grand Theft Auto VI has reportedly generated approximately $751 million from 7.71 million digital preorders ahead of its November 19, 2026 release, according to updated estimates from analytics firm Sensor Tower. The November 3 figures suggest that Rockstar Games’ upcoming title has accumulated another $121 million in estimated preorder revenue over the past two weeks.
The latest figures, detailed by Insider Gaming, indicate that PlayStation 5 accounts for approximately 74% of digital preorders, while Xbox Series X|S represents the remaining 26%. The estimates cover worldwide digital purchases and have not been independently confirmed by Rockstar Games or parent company Take-Two Interactive.
Sensor Tower’s updated breakdown attributes approximately 5.74 million preorders and $559 million in consumer spending to PlayStation 5. Xbox Series X|S accounts for an estimated 1.97 million preorders, representing approximately $192 million.

The new estimates mark a substantial increase from the $630 million in estimated GTA 6 preorder revenue recorded on October 20. At that point, Sensor Tower placed digital preorders at approximately 6.45 million copies.
Comparing the two estimates, GTA 6 has added approximately 1.26 million digital preorders and $121 million in estimated consumer spending over roughly 14 days. That represents an increase of nearly 20% in both preorder volume and revenue.
Despite the growth, the estimated distribution between console platforms has remained largely unchanged. PlayStation accounted for approximately 74% of preorders in the earlier figures and maintains the same share in the latest update.
These numbers are third-party estimates rather than officially disclosed sales results. Sensor Tower’s tracking covers digital console preorders, meaning physical retail reservations are not included. The reported revenue represents estimated consumer spending rather than confirmed earnings received by Rockstar or Take-Two, and preorder totals remain subject to cancellations and refunds.
The updated figures arrive shortly before the game’s scheduled November 19 launch on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Players preparing for release can also take advantage of the November 10 preload rollout, which will allow eligible digital purchasers to download the game ahead of launch.
With approximately two weeks remaining before release, Sensor Tower’s latest estimates indicate continued growth in GTA 6’s digital preorder demand. However, the actual number of preorders and the game’s final prelaunch revenue will remain uncertain unless Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive publishes official figures.
