    The situation unfolded when followers of Stellar Blade’s official X (formerly Twitter) account noticed a series of suspicious posts promoting fraudulent cryptocurrency airdrops and shady signup links.

    As confusion rippled through the fanbase, game director Hyung-Tae Kim stepped in through his personal account to confirm that the page had been compromised. He urged fans not to engage with any posts coming from the official handle during the breach.

    Meanwhile, the attackers continued using accounts to push links to fake promotions unrelated to Shift Up or the game. Days later, Shift Up released a formal statement expressing regret over the delay in regaining control and vowing to reflect on the incident.

    The studio promised to take every precaution necessary to ensure such a security lapse never occurs again. The studio’s apology regarding Stellar Blade social media hack included a lighthearted image of the game’s protagonist Lily, bowing apologetically.
