Massive Ban Wave Hits PUBG Players

Between July 28 and August 3, PUBG’s anti-cheat team issued permanent bans on PUBG players to a staggering 22,039 player accounts. These bans weren’t limited to just hackers—though 14,298 of them were caught using cheats. The wave also targeted 6,189 players involved in own team killing.

An additional 1,080 accounts were removed for teaming, where opponents illegally collaborate, while 472 others were flagged for abusive behavior.

PUBG Publishes Full List Of Banned Usernames

To maintain transparency, PUBG Corportation even published a complete list of the banned usernames, giving players a chance to see whether any familiar offenders were included.

As part of their ongoing effort to secure the game environment, the developers also recommend that all users enable Steam Guard Mobile Authenticator to better protect their accounts from unauthorized access or software misuse.

Being a leading multiplayer title, PUBG Battlegrounds must uphold competitive fairness by actively combating cheating and toxic behavior. This ongoing effort not only protects the integrity of the game but also ensures that players can enjoy a balanced and respectful gaming environment.
