People have been eagerly awaiting more Activision games on Xbox Game Pass ever since the acquisition, and while things have been quiet for a while, there has recently been a boost in blockbuster Activision titles coming to the service, including the possibility of Crash Bandicoot soon.

The beloved Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy is reportedly landing on Xbox Game Pass on August 8, according to a reliable insider, eXtas1s.

Importance: Crash Bandicoot is one of the most beloved games of all time, and its arrival on Xbox Game Pass, especially with the Trilogy, will boost the subscription service to a wider audience.

eXtas1s recently accurately predicted the arrival of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 on the service. This announcement follows eXtas1s’s previous claims that the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy would be available on Game Pass in August.

This is the first time a specific release date has been provided. The same source also hinted at the addition of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 and Spyro Reignited Trilogy to Game Pass ‘very soon’.

The move comes after Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision Blizzard for $69 billion, which was completed in October 2023. Since then, Diablo 4 has become the first Activision Blizzard title to be featured on Game Pass, debuting on the service in March.

In May, Microsoft announced that Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will be the first game in the franchise to launch on Game Pass on its release day, scheduled for October 25, 2024.

Additionally, Microsoft has recently adjusted its Game Pass pricing and plans to introduce a new Standard tier, which will exclude day-one releases.

There are also rumors of potential new tiers, including a cloud-only option. The potential addition of Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy aligns with Microsoft’s ongoing strategy to expand its Game Pass offerings and provide more value to subscribers.
