Adorable Adventures could be coming to Nintendo Switch 2, with multiple European retailers listing an unannounced version of the exploration game for release on January 28, 2027. The listings identify PQube as the publisher and indicate that the physical edition will use Nintendo’s Game-Key Card format.
Dutch retailers Bol and Nedgame are accepting preorders for the Switch 2 edition at €39.99. Both stores list January 28, 2027, as the release date, while Spanish retailer Wakkap also has a product page for the game. However, PQube has not formally announced a Switch 2 version, meaning the release information remains unofficial.
Bol’s product listing provides several details about the apparent release. It identifies the game as a Nintendo Switch 2 title with a PEGI 3 age rating and describes the physical format as a Nintendo Switch Game-Key Card. The packaging information also explicitly references a Switch 2 Game-Key Card edition.

Unlike a conventional physical cartridge containing the complete game, Nintendo’s Game-Key Card format requires players to download the game data before playing. The card must remain inserted to launch the downloaded game.
The retailer information also includes a European product identifier, EAN 5060690798392, suggesting that the listing concerns a specific retail edition rather than a general placeholder for a possible port. Nevertheless, the presence of a product identifier does not establish that the publisher has finalized its release plans.
Adorable Adventures is a relaxed third-person exploration game featuring Boris, a young wild boar exploring natural environments. Players explore the landscape, encounter wildlife and discover plants and other details throughout the environment. Its exploration-focused gameplay would add another smaller-scale adventure to the Switch 2 library.
The apparent port follows other indications of unannounced games heading to Nintendo’s newer console. Darkest Dungeon II's Switch 2 ratings similarly pointed to a new version before a formal announcement, although that discovery came through classification authorities rather than retail listings.
For now, the matching January 28 dates across Bol and Nedgame provide a consistent indication of the intended launch window, but they should not be treated as official confirmation. PQube has yet to announce the Switch 2 edition, confirm its pricing or establish a definitive release date.
