A new ANOMALITH demo is now available for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC via Steam, giving players access to the opening section of FuRyu’s upcoming survival third-person shooter. The demo arrives ahead of the full game’s October 29 release and is available across all three launch platforms. Save data created in the demo cannot be transferred into the full version.
ANOMALITH is developed by Winning Entertainment Group and published by FuRyu. The game follows 17-year-old Reona Minazuki, who becomes an investigator for the government-backed Anomaly Zone Countermeasures Office after her friend disappears inside one of the mysterious spaces known as Anomaly Zones. During her first investigation, a strange power awakens within Reona after other members of the expedition are killed, leaving her to explore increasingly dangerous anomalies while searching for answers.
The game combines third-person gunplay with survival-horror resource management and environments built around reality-distorting phenomena. Players will explore locations including apartment buildings affected by inverted gravity, warped corridors and spaces that repeatedly transform around them. Ammunition and inventory space are limited, requiring players to decide what weapons, supplies and recovered materials are worth carrying back from each expedition.

Reona can also develop 12 different Anomalization Skills that supplement conventional gunplay. These abilities can support combat or provide more powerful options when normal weapons are not enough, while guns themselves can be modified with attachments to suit different approaches. Artifacts recovered from Anomaly Zones provide additional stat changes, creating another layer of customization between dives.
Character customization extends beyond combat equipment. FuRyu says ANOMALITH includes more than 300 customizable items spread across nine areas of Reona’s outfit, while appearance can be altered separately from equipped statistics. Players can therefore retain the benefits of a particular equipment setup without being forced to use its visual appearance throughout the game.
Investigations also feed into a broader collection system. Defeating anomalies unlocks reports covering their characteristics and behavior, while side missions reveal more information about the game’s supporting cast and the relationships between its characters. FuRyu says more than 200 investigation reports can be collected, gradually providing additional context about the Anomaly Zones and the entities found inside them.
The newly released demo is separate from the limited PC trial distributed during Six One Indie Demo Days in August. That earlier build was available through Steam for roughly a week and incorporated some changes based on feedback from ANOMALITH’s previous closed demo test. The latest release expands access to console players on PS5 and Switch 2 while once again letting PC users sample the game ahead of launch.
Free pre-release demos have become increasingly common across the current console lineup, with games such as Stellar Blade also receiving a Switch 2 demo ahead of a wider release. Other recent releases have similarly used demos to give console players an early look, including Fading Echo on PS5.
ANOMALITH’s creative staff includes scenario writer Romeo Tanaka, character designer MON and composer Yuka Kitamura, whose previous game credits include Elden Ring, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, Bloodborne and Dark Souls III. FuRyu is positioning the project around a mixture of survival horror, anomaly-focused exploration and retro Japanese aesthetics rather than straightforward action alone.
The full version of ANOMALITH launches October 29 for PS5, Switch 2 and PC. Digital and physical editions are planned, while the Digital Deluxe Edition includes an art book, mini soundtrack, additional equipment and 48-hour early access. For players interested in trying its anomaly-driven exploration and resource-focused combat first, the new demo is available now across all three platforms.
