Street Fighter 6’s next Year 4 DLC fighter, Arjun, will launch on October 13, 2026, Capcom has confirmed. The release date was announced alongside a new gameplay trailer showing the Indian fighter’s Bare-knuckle Yoga style in action. Arjun will be available across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC.

Arjun is the second character in Street Fighter 6’s Year 4 lineup, following Yasmine, who arrived on August 3. Capcom originally revealed him in June with an autumn 2026 release window, alongside Tifa from the Final Fantasy VII Remake series and Bosch, both of whom are still scheduled for 2027. The October 13 date now gives Year 4 its next firm milestone.

Capcom describes Arjun as a fighter who combines extraordinary lung capacity with yogic breathing to generate explosive power. His martial art is called Bare-knuckle Yoga, and the new trailer emphasizes heavy strikes, forward pressure and attacks built around controlled breathing. Capcom’s promotional material characterizes his style as forceful and direct, with his physical power playing a central role in how he approaches close-range combat.

The character’s story also places him within Street Fighter 6’s wider World Tour setting. Arjun previously worked as a police officer in India before being accused of killing a colleague, forcing him to go on the run while searching for the person actually responsible. That background gives Capcom room to integrate him into both the competitive roster and Street Fighter 6’s single-player character progression systems.

Players who own the Year 4 Character Pass or Year 4 Ultimate Pass will receive Arjun automatically when he launches. He can also be purchased separately using Fighter Coins. The standard Character Pass includes all four Year 4 fighters, Outfit 1 Colors 3-10 for each character and 3,000 Drive Tickets, while the Ultimate Pass adds Outfit 2, Outfit 3 and a larger Drive Ticket bonus.

Year 4 began with Yasmine, another original character introduced specifically for Street Fighter 6. Arjun continues Capcom’s mix of new fighters, returning characters and guest appearances for the season, with Tifa representing the year’s major crossover addition. Bosch will close out the pass in spring 2027 after previously appearing as one of the central characters in World Tour.

Capcom has increasingly used DLC seasons to broaden Street Fighter 6’s roster beyond traditional returning fighters. Earlier passes introduced guest characters such as Terry Bogard and Mai Shiranui, while Year 4 expands that approach further by pairing brand-new characters with Tifa and a playable version of Bosch. Arjun is therefore notable not just as the next DLC release, but as another entirely new addition to the wider Street Fighter cast.

The game itself remains available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC. The Switch 2 version launched in June 2025 alongside the Years 1-2 Fighters Edition, bringing the game onto Nintendo hardware after its original 2023 release. All current platforms are included in Capcom’s Year 4 rollout.

Arjun will join Street Fighter 6 on October 13, with the new gameplay trailer serving as the first substantial look at how his Bare-knuckle Yoga translates into matches. Tifa remains scheduled for early 2027, followed by Bosch in spring 2027, completing the four-character Year 4 pass.
