The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake has appeared on Nintendo’s Australian store with a digital price of AU$94.95 ahead of the September 8 Zelda 40th Anniversary Direct. Australian Nintendo outlet Vooks spotted the listing through the store’s search results, while the Nintendo eShop itself was not yet displaying a price. Nintendo has not formally announced worldwide pricing for the Switch 2 remake.
Vooks also found a New Zealand digital price of NZ$104.95. Based on Nintendo’s existing regional pricing structure, the outlet estimates that the game could cost US$59.99 in the United States and £49.99 in the UK, but those figures are not official conversions or confirmed regional prices. Until Nintendo publishes listings in those markets, AU$94.95 and NZ$104.95 are the only prices tied directly to the surfaced store data.
The Australian price places Ocarina of Time in the middle of Nintendo’s current Switch 2 software range. Vooks notes that AU$94.95 matches the digital price of Yoshi and the Mysterious Book, while being cheaper than higher-priced releases such as Donkey Kong Bananza and more expensive than Star Fox. Nintendo’s Australian store currently lists the physical version of Yoshi and the Mysterious Book at AU$109.95, illustrating the company’s practice of pricing some first-party digital releases below their boxed counterparts.
Vooks estimates that the corresponding physical Ocarina of Time release would therefore be AU$109.95 if Nintendo follows the same pricing pattern. That physical figure has not appeared in the surfaced listing, however, and should not yet be treated as confirmed. Nintendo has also not announced preorder timing, editions or any potential bonuses connected to the remake.
Ocarina of Time itself is no longer a rumored project. Nintendo officially revealed the game during its June 2026 Nintendo Direct, describing the Nintendo 64 classic as being reborn for a new generation exclusively on Nintendo Switch 2. The company’s current North American store page lists a 2026 release window but does not show a price or exact launch date.
Additional retailer listings have nevertheless continued to surface ahead of Nintendo’s next Zelda presentation. One recent listing named Monolith Soft as the remake’s developer, although Nintendo has not confirmed that credit. Other retailer leaks have claimed special editions and themed hardware, but those details similarly remain unverified until Nintendo provides first-party information.
More clarification could arrive very soon. Nintendo’s Zelda 40th Anniversary Direct is scheduled for September 8 at 7 a.m. PT and will run for approximately 30 minutes. Nintendo says the presentation will contain a variety of information celebrating the series’ 40th anniversary, making Ocarina of Time an obvious candidate for additional details even though the company has not explicitly promised that the remake will appear.
The timing of the Australian store update is therefore notable. A Nintendo-operated storefront surfacing pricing immediately before the dedicated Zelda presentation provides stronger evidence than an ordinary third-party retailer listing, although the visibility of a store entry ahead of schedule does not guarantee that every attached detail is final. Regional pricing can also differ substantially once taxes and Nintendo’s local pricing structures are taken into account.
For now, the clearest new information is the AU$94.95 digital price and NZ$104.95 New Zealand price spotted through Nintendo’s own store infrastructure. A US$59.99 price remains a reasonable comparison based on similar Nintendo releases, but it is still only an estimate. Nintendo may confirm broader pricing, preorder details and potentially a final release date during the September 8 Zelda Direct.
