Fortnite, known for its high-profile collaborations, might soon be teaming up with Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, according to a well-known leaker. The anime, based on Koyoharu Gotouge’s popular manga, follows Tanjiro Kamado on his journey to become a demon slayer after the tragic loss of his family and his sister Nezuko’s transformation into a demon. If true, this crossover would join Fortnite’s growing list of anime partnerships, which already includes Dragon Ball Super, Attack on Titan, Jujutsu Kaisen, and My Hero Academia.

Collaborations have become a defining feature of Fortnite, and its current season, Chapter 2 Remix, is no exception. The season celebrates the highlights of the game’s second chapter with returning locations, unvaulted weapons, and revamped character designs in the miniature battle pass. It also features partnerships with music icons such as Snoop Dogg, Ice Spice, Eminem, and the late Juice WRLD. As a bonus, players can snag exclusive Juice WRLD-themed cosmetics for free before the season wraps up at the end of November. This nostalgic season serves as a transitional bridge to the much-anticipated Chapter 6, launching in December.

Prominent Fortnite leaker ShiinaBR shared on Twitter that a collaboration with Demon Slayer is potentially in the works, though specific details remain scarce. However, considering the trend with past anime crossovers, fans can likely expect a lineup of new character skins. These leaks come amid other rumors of upcoming collaborations, such as additional skins from Into the Spider-Verse.

The timing for a Demon Slayer crossover aligns perfectly with the rumored theme of Fortnite’s next season, which is said to feature traditional Japanese elements, including Demon and Oni masks. This aesthetic could pave the way for iconic Demon Slayer characters to seamlessly integrate into the game. There’s also speculation that the collaboration might introduce unique items or weapons inspired by the anime, further enhancing the experience for fans.

Fortnite is also undergoing significant changes as it prepares for its next chapter. Epic Games has teased new gameplay mechanics, a refreshed map, and other major updates to mark the start of Chapter 6. Notably, the price of the battle pass will increase for the first time, alongside changes to the Fortnite Crew subscription service. With these updates and the constant influx of high-profile collaborations, the future of Fortnite looks exciting for players eager to see what’s next.

For now, all eyes are on Epic Games for confirmation of the Fortnite Demon Slayer collaboration, as well as other rumored additions, ensuring that fans have plenty to look forward to in the weeks ahead.
