Reliable leaker billbil-kun reported the product on September 10, while an apparent premature Amazon Japan listing had already surfaced several days earlier. Together, the two sources provide unusually substantial evidence that the Headphone (1) Pro is real and nearing release.
According to the Amazon listing, the Headphone (1) Pro is scheduled to launch on September 29, 2026. The Japanese listing priced the headphones at ¥64,800 including tax, significantly above the ¥39,800 launch price shown for the standard Headphone (1) in Japan. Nothing has not formally announced the product at the time of writing, so the release date and regional pricing should still be treated as leaked rather than confirmed.
The most significant reported hardware change is a move to a triple-driver configuration. Amazon’s listing describes the headphones as using three drivers rather than the single 40 mm dynamic driver found in the current Headphone (1), suggesting Nothing is targeting a more ambitious audio system for the Pro model. The listing also mentions Hi-Res Audio certification, LDAC support and a Flat EQ mode intended to provide a more neutral reproduction option.
Noise cancellation also appears to be receiving a substantial upgrade. The Headphone (1) Pro is listed with a 10-microphone hybrid active noise cancellation system, compared with the simpler microphone configuration used by the current model. Spatial audio with head tracking is also mentioned, which would allow the apparent position of audio to remain anchored as the listener moves their head.

Nothing also appears to be changing the physical construction for the Pro version. The Headphone (1) Pro would sit above Nothing’s existing over-ear lineup, which already includes the original Headphone (1) and the lower-cost Headphone (a).
