Two Point Studios has announced Rides & Relics, a new Two Point Museum expansion launching October 8, 2026 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The DLC shifts the museum-management game toward amusement-park territory by introducing customizable roller coasters, a new Riquetti Gardens location, Funfair Experts and more than 15 new exhibits. A Nintendo Switch 2 version is also planned, although Two Point Studios has only said it is coming later.
Rides & Relics is built around restoring a long-abandoned amusement park in Two Point County. Players take on the role of a Funfair Expert and reopen Riquetti Gardens after decades of neglect, turning its old attractions into functioning experiences for museum guests. The expansion combines that restoration theme with Two Point Museum’s existing expedition, collection and management systems rather than treating the new content as a completely separate theme-park mode.
One of the biggest additions is the ability to build personalized roller coasters. Two Point Studios says players can create their own layouts across five different themes, introducing a much more customizable attraction system than the static exhibits typically found in the base game. The feature appears designed to let players create rides that visually complement their existing museum themes while still functioning as major attractions in their own right.

The new campaign is centered on Riquetti Gardens and uses a five-star progression structure. Players will also travel on expeditions to the abandoned Gearbox Fairgrounds, where they can uncover new attractions, relics and collectibles tied to the funfair theme. Ten new mascots are hidden across expeditions, giving players another collection objective alongside the expansion’s exhibits and decorations.
Funfair Experts are the DLC’s new specialist staff type. They are responsible for researching, restoring and developing the amusement-focused content, extending the expert system already used throughout Two Point Museum’s other museum themes. The expansion also adds more than 15 Funfair Exhibits, including Antique Amusements designed around historic rides and attractions from Two Point County’s past.
Rides & Relics expands museum customization beyond the headline coaster system as well. New hedges, fences, landscaping pieces and outdoor decorations are being added, alongside utility items such as a Helipad, Ticket Desk, benches and bins. New Gift Shop merchandise will also be available, giving players additional ways to build the funfair theme into the wider guest experience rather than restricting it to a single attraction zone.
The announcement continues Two Point Museum’s increasingly broad approach to post-launch expansions. Previous DLC packs have pushed the game into fantasy, wildlife and art themes, while Rides & Relics goes further by incorporating systems normally associated with dedicated theme-park management games. That makes it one of the most mechanically distinct expansions released for the game so far.
The new content still remains tied closely to the museum-management framework, however. Expeditions continue to provide new discoveries, experts remain central to progression, and the amusement attractions are framed as historical experiences and exhibits rather than as an entirely separate park-management game. That distinction allows the DLC to add coaster-building and park-style facilities without abandoning the core structure of Two Point Museum.
Rides & Relics joins a growing group of substantial paid expansions arriving across management and life-sim games in 2026, including FANTASY LIFE i’s newly announced Celestial Express DLC. In Two Point Museum’s case, the scale of the new attraction systems suggests the expansion is intended to offer more than a simple collection of decorative items or additional exhibits.
Two Point Museum: Rides & Relics launches October 8 on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The Nintendo Switch 2 version will follow later, with Two Point Studios yet to provide a specific date for that platform.
