Fortnite’s Screamer collaboration is arriving on September 15, bringing Hiroshi Jackson from Milestone’s racing game into the Item Shop. Fortnite leaker ShiinaBR shared a new promotional image for the crossover and said the cosmetic will be available in the shop tonight, while Screamer is also now listed by Epic Games Store as part of its Gift with Purchase program. Epic has not yet published a full Fortnite blog post detailing every cosmetic or the exact purchase requirements tied to the store promotion.

Hiroshi Jackson is one of Screamer’s central characters and leads the Green Reapers team in Milestone’s 2026 racing game. His Fortnite appearance had already been foreshadowed through Chapter 7 Season 4: Override material, which placed Screamer among the many gaming franchises receiving crossover content during the season. Several Fortnite leak accounts subsequently pointed to September 15 as the planned Item Shop date before the latest promotional image surfaced.

The Epic Games Store provides stronger confirmation that the collaboration extends beyond a normal shop release. Screamer is currently listed in the store’s dedicated Gift with Purchase section alongside other games that grant Fortnite content through qualifying transactions. Epic describes the program as covering eligible purchases that award items in Fortnite, although the current discovery page does not spell out the Screamer reward directly in the visible listing.

That setup matches a pattern Epic has increasingly used to connect Fortnite with games sold through its PC storefront. Instead of limiting collaborations to V-Bucks purchases inside Fortnite, certain promotions allow players to unlock cosmetics by buying or spending money in participating Epic Games Store titles. An earlier leak had already suggested another Epic Games Store-linked Fortnite collaboration was encrypted, making Screamer’s appearance in the official Gift with Purchase section particularly notable.

Hiroshi’s Fortnite cosmetic is expected to preserve the cel-shaded style associated with Screamer’s characters rather than adapting him into Fortnite’s more conventional visual treatment. Screamer itself blends arcade racing with combat mechanics, placing teams of drivers into high-speed events where attacking opponents is as important as crossing the finish line. The game launched in March 2026 and was developed and published by Milestone.

The crossover also arrives during one of Fortnite’s busiest stretches of gaming collaborations this season. Override has already featured or announced content tied to Mega Man, Kingdom Hearts, Pac-Man, Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, Persona 5 and several other gaming properties. Unlike some of those larger collaborations, the Screamer rollout currently appears focused primarily on Hiroshi rather than a broad multi-character set.

Epic has not yet confirmed the V-Bucks price of the Hiroshi Jackson Outfit through a dedicated announcement. It also remains unclear whether the Screamer Gift with Purchase offer grants Hiroshi himself, a separate accessory or another Fortnite item, since the store’s public Gift with Purchase page lists Screamer as eligible without displaying the reward in the main discovery view. Players should therefore wait for Epic’s complete terms before assuming that purchasing the game automatically provides the same cosmetic being sold in the Item Shop.

The collaboration has been building for several weeks. Screamer appeared among the gaming properties associated with Fortnite’s Override season before individual shop dates began surfacing through datamining, and Hiroshi was consistently identified as the crossover character. The September 15 listing now lines up with those earlier leaks.

Fortnite’s Screamer crossover is expected to go live with the September 15 Item Shop reset. Hiroshi Jackson will be the centerpiece of the release, while Epic Games Store’s official Gift with Purchase section confirms Screamer is also participating in a Fortnite-linked purchasing promotion. Exact bundle contents, pricing and the specific store bonus still require full confirmation from Epic.
