New Grand Theft Auto VI gameplay appeared in an unexpected place on October 28, 2026, when South Park aired a previously unseen sequence from Rockstar Games’ upcoming open-world title. The footage shows protagonist Jason interacting with a non-playable character (NPC) on a crowded beach before using a bag of dog waste as an improvised weapon.
The sequence appeared in “Guinea Pig on a Stick,” the fourth episode of South Park Season 29, broadcast on Comedy Central. Unlike a parody or recreation of the game, the clip features genuine GTA 6 footage supplied by Rockstar Games, as confirmed by the episode’s end credits.
The brief gameplay demonstration begins with Jason and Lucia walking along a beach populated by pedestrians. A dog is then shown relieving itself while its owner prepares to clean up afterward.

The footage subsequently switches to third-person gameplay, with Jason throwing an object at the dog’s owner. When the NPC turns around to confront him, Jason picks up a bag containing the dog’s waste and strikes the character with it.
The interaction demonstrates several elements of GTA 6’s environmental interactivity, including NPC reactions to player aggression, objects that can be picked up from the environment, and the ability to use unconventional items during confrontations.
The footage also provides another look at the game’s populated beachfront setting, with pedestrians, environmental details and the familiar third-person perspective visible during the encounter.
Although the sequence is newly revealed, the underlying mechanic is not entirely new information. Reports published earlier in 2026 had already discussed the possibility of players interacting with discarded dog waste. The South Park appearance provides a direct visual demonstration of that interaction rather than introducing an entirely unreported feature.
Rockstar’s involvement is established by the episode’s credits, which explicitly acknowledge the company for providing Grand Theft Auto VI footage. The confirmation distinguishes the sequence from fan-made gameplay recreations and other unofficial material circulating before release.
The unusual appearance also continues South Park’s recurring references to GTA 6 throughout its current season. Previous episodes have incorporated the game’s approaching launch into the show’s political and cultural satire, but the October 28 episode goes further by featuring actual footage.
The new clip arrives alongside other recently released information about GTA 6’s world and characters. Rockstar has discussed its approach to Leonida's world-building, ambient dialogue and environmental detail, emphasizing the work involved in creating the game’s fictional version of Florida.
Additional screenshots and character details involving Jason and Lucia have also provided a closer look at the protagonists and Rockstar’s approach to realism.
The South Park footage offers a smaller, more specific example of that emphasis on environmental interactions. Rather than revealing a new location or major storyline, it demonstrates how an ordinary encounter with a pedestrian can develop into an unusual confrontation.
Grand Theft Auto VI is scheduled to launch on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Rockstar has not announced a PC release date.
