Fortnite’s new Hiroshi Jackson Outfit from Screamer is now available for 1,500 V-Bucks, with Epic Games also offering a second way to obtain the cosmetic through the Epic Games Store. Players who purchase or pre-purchase Screamer through Epic’s PC storefront can receive the Hiroshi Jackson Outfit in Fortnite as a gift with purchase. The promotion began on September 15 at 8 PM ET.
Epic’s official Screamer FAQ confirms that the Outfit will remain separately available in the Fortnite Shop until September 22 at 8 PM ET. Although Epic’s FAQ does not state the Item Shop price directly, the promotion effectively values the Outfit at 1,500 V-Bucks: players who buy Hiroshi Jackson in Fortnite first and later purchase Screamer through the Epic Games Store receive a one-time 1,500 V-Bucks grant instead of receiving a duplicate Outfit.
That means players interested in both Screamer and the Fortnite cosmetic have an alternative to buying the Outfit directly. Epic currently lists Screamer at $23.99 on sale through September 22, down from its regular $59.99 price, while qualifying Epic Games Store purchases include Hiroshi Jackson automatically. The promotion applies to purchases and pre-purchases made through Epic’s storefront rather than copies bought from other PC or console stores.

The crossover follows an earlier encrypted Epic Games Store Fortnite collaboration that dataminers had identified before Hiroshi Jackson was officially revealed. At the time, the hidden promotion was described as involving a cel-shaded male Outfit tied to another Epic Games Store release. Screamer has now been confirmed as that collaboration, with Hiroshi becoming the crossover character.
Players who qualify for the promotion do not need to play Fortnite on PC to use the cosmetic. Epic says the Outfit will appear on PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo and other supported platforms as long as those console accounts are connected to the same Epic account used for the Screamer purchase. The cosmetic is therefore tied to the player’s Epic account rather than being restricted to the platform where Screamer was purchased.
Epic has also outlined what happens if a player refunds Screamer. Anyone who received Hiroshi Jackson through the promotion will lose the Outfit if the qualifying Screamer purchase is refunded. The same applies to the 1,500 V-Bucks grant for players who had already bought the Outfit separately before purchasing Screamer.
There is one important difference between the two availability windows. The Fortnite Shop listing ends on September 22, but Epic says the gift-with-purchase version of Hiroshi Jackson will remain available for as long as Screamer continues to be sold through the Epic Games Store. That makes the game purchase route potentially much longer-lasting than the limited Item Shop appearance.
Screamer itself launched on March 26, 2026 and is developed and published by Milestone. The arcade racing game combines high-speed competition with fighting mechanics, anime-inspired presentation and multiple racing modes built around its ECHO and Overdrive systems. Hiroshi Jackson is one of the game’s characters and now becomes the latest external gaming character to receive a Fortnite Outfit through an Epic Store promotion.
The Hiroshi Jackson Outfit is available in Fortnite for 1,500 V-Bucks through September 22 at 8 PM ET. Alternatively, purchasing Screamer through the Epic Games Store grants the Outfit directly, while players who already bought the cosmetic can instead receive 1,500 V-Bucks when making an eligible Screamer purchase.
