Buckshot Roulette is coming to PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch, publisher CRITICAL REFLEX and developer Mike Klubnika have announced. The horror game, which is already available on PC and Xbox consoles, has sold more than four million copies worldwide.
The announcement was accompanied by a new trailer highlighting the upcoming PlayStation and Nintendo versions. However, neither the publisher nor the developer has confirmed a release date for the three platforms.
Buckshot Roulette replaces the traditional revolver in Russian roulette with a 12-gauge shotgun. Set inside a grim underground nightclub, the game challenges players to survive a series of rounds against a mysterious opponent known as The Dealer.

Players must keep track of live and blank shells while deciding whether to fire at themselves or their opponent. Items introduce additional strategic choices, allowing players to manipulate the game and improve their chances of surviving each round.
The game also supports multiplayer, allowing friends to compete against one another rather than facing only the computer-controlled Dealer.
Originally released on itch.io in December 2023, Buckshot Roulette arrived on Steam in April 2024. Its multiplayer update followed in October 2024, expanding the experience beyond its original single-player format.
The game subsequently launched on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S in July 2026, with availability through Xbox Game Pass. The newly announced PlayStation and Switch editions will bring it to the remaining major console platforms.
According to CRITICAL REFLEX, Buckshot Roulette has surpassed four million copies sold and received nominations at both The Indie Game Awards and The Horror Game Awards.
The announcement also adds another established indie horror title to the upcoming console release lineup. Wrong Organ’s Mouthwashing is arriving on PlayStation, Xbox and Switch on October 29, bringing another previously PC-focused horror experience to console audiences.
For now, players interested in Buckshot Roulette on PS5, PS4 or Nintendo Switch will have to await further details on release timing. Pricing and platform-specific features for the new editions have not been announced.
