Level Infinite and developer Shift Up have announced the fourth-anniversary update for Goddess of Victory: Nikke, launching worldwide on October 29, 2026. The update introduces two new SSR characters, Marian: Queen and Scarlet: Goddeath, alongside a free SSR version of Rapunzel, additional story chapters, a Stellar Blade music collaboration and up to 259 free recruitment attempts.
Revealed during the game’s fourth-anniversary livestream on October 24, the update also includes new costumes, limited-time events, a narrative minigame and full Spanish text localization. The anniversary content will be available across the game’s PC, iOS and Android versions.
Marian: Queen is a new version of Marian whose storyline involves confronting the Space Queen. She is a Fire-code, Burst III attacker equipped with a machine gun, specializing in attacks against multiple enemies. Her Burst skill further enhances her offensive capabilities.

Scarlet: Goddeath, meanwhile, represents an upgraded version of Hongryeon developed with technology from Eden. She receives a reinforced body and a dark-matter-infused sword forged from the shattered blades of Hongryeon and Jang-hwa. In combat, Scarlet: Goddeath functions as a Fire-code, Burst III attacker using an assault rifle, with abilities focused on piercing attacks.
The third anniversary character is Rapunzel: Sanctuary, a new SSR support unit available through anniversary activities. Inspired by a papal design and equipped with technology associated with Red Shoes, this version of Rapunzel provides healing and offensive buffs to her allies. Players will be able to obtain up to four copies without spending recruitment currency, allowing them to reach her maximum limit break.
The main story expands with Chapters 49 and 50, continuing the conflict surrounding the Third Surface Recapture War. These chapters bring the Underground Ark storyline to its conclusion as humanity’s forces confront a major threat during their attempt to reclaim the surface.
A separate story event titled MARIA-n follows Marian as she awakens in unfamiliar surroundings and explores a research facility before venturing onto the surface. The event provides additional narrative content connected to the anniversary’s central storyline.
Shift Up is also bringing music from Stellar Blade into Nikke through TRACING THE STARS x Stellar Blade, a 22-track collaboration that includes four free tracks. The crossover introduces custom note skins, minigame backgrounds and an additional character appearance.
The collaboration brings together two games developed by Shift Up, which has continued expanding Stellar Blade's presence on additional platforms and through crossover content.
Another anniversary addition is Fading Affection, a choice-driven visual novel minigame. Players will revisit fragmented memories and make decisions that lead to different narrative outcomes, providing a different gameplay experience from Nikke’s usual shooting battles.
Four new costumes are also planned. Marian: Queen receives Last Affection, a wedding dress-themed outfit, while Snow White: Heavy Arms gains the Lacrimosa costume. Both are designated as gacha costumes. Additional outfits for Neon and Nayuta will be distributed through battle passes.
Anniversary rewards are another major part of the update. Level Infinite has confirmed that players can earn up to 259 free recruitment attempts across the celebration through various events and reward distributions. The total represents the maximum available through participating activities rather than a single reward granted immediately upon login.
Players can also obtain fourth-anniversary Nikke Selection Boxes, allowing them to choose from Rapunzel: Sanctuary, Chime, Rapunzel: Pure Grace and Snow White: Innocent Days. These rewards provide opportunities to acquire or strengthen selected characters without relying entirely on random recruitment.
The October 29 update will additionally introduce full Spanish text localization, expanding language accessibility for Spanish-speaking players, particularly across Latin America.
Outside the game, Nikke will feature an anniversary display at One Times Square in New York City on October 29. An in-person collaboration with Animate Los Angeles is scheduled from October 31 through November 14, featuring themed decorations, merchandise and community activities.
Goddess of Victory: Nikke is currently available as a free-to-play action RPG on Windows PC, iOS and Android. Its fourth-anniversary update arrives globally on October 29, with anniversary activities and rewards distributed throughout the celebration.
