Bloober Team’s remake of the original Silent Hill is reportedly targeting a 2027 release, with new information also identifying two actors believed to be involved in the upcoming survival-horror game. The reported casting details include Gabrielle Fritz and Jade Matthew, although their characters have not been confirmed.
The information comes from an October 26, 2026, investigation by MP1st, which claims the project is currently operating under the casting codename “Project Noise.” The publication reports that the remake is aiming for release next year, but cautions that development schedules can change. Neither Konami nor Bloober Team has officially announced a release window or confirmed the reported cast members.
MP1st identifies Gabrielle Fritz as a London-based actress with previous video game performance credits, including Battlefield 2042, Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus and Luna Abyss. Jade Matthew, another UK-based performer, is also reportedly attached to the project, with previous work that includes the MMORPG Dragon Nest.

The report does not establish which characters either actress will portray. The original Silent Hill features several prominent female characters, including police officer Cybil Bennett, nurse Lisa Garland and Dahlia Gillespie. These characters could potentially return in the remake, but assigning either actress to a particular role would currently be speculation.
Casting information for Harry Mason, the original game’s protagonist, also remains unknown. Mason’s story follows his search for his missing daughter, Cheryl, after a car accident leaves him stranded near the mysterious town of Silent Hill. His investigation gradually exposes the town’s disturbing supernatural secrets.
Alongside the reported casting codename, MP1st notes that the remake has previously been associated with the rumored internal designation “Project G.” Neither project name has been officially established as the game’s development title.
Konami formally announced the Silent Hill remake during its Press Start presentation on June 12, 2025. The publisher confirmed that Bloober Team, the Polish studio responsible for the 2024 Silent Hill 2 remake, would develop a new version of the original 1999 PlayStation game. The announcement included a brief teaser confirming development but offered no gameplay footage, platform details or launch date.
The reported 2027 target would also align with Konami’s broader plans for the franchise. Silent Hill series producer Motoi Okamoto has discussed the company’s ambition to maintain a regular release schedule, potentially delivering approximately one new Silent Hill game each year.
The franchise has already received multiple releases as part of its revival, including Silent Hill f and Silent Hill: Townfall, which introduced a first-person approach built around stealth, combat and its distinctive CRTV mechanic.
For now, the remake’s reported 2027 release window and casting information remain unverified by its developers. Konami has not disclosed the game’s platforms, gameplay changes or specific release timing beyond confirming that the project is in development.
