A new batch of South Korean age ratings for 29 classic Capcom games has raised the possibility of an upcoming retro-game collection. The listings, published through South Korea’s Game Rating and Administration Committee (GRAC), cover several major Capcom franchises, including Mega Man, Breath of Fire, Final Fight, Ghosts ‘n Goblins and Street Fighter.

The ratings became public on October 27, 2026, and include games originally released across multiple generations of home consoles. Although the classifications suggest Capcom may be preparing to reintroduce these titles, the publisher has not announced a new compilation, confirmed supported platforms or provided a release date.

The Mega Man series accounts for seven entries in the ratings: Mega Man, Mega Man 2, Mega Man 3, Mega Man 4, Mega Man 5, Mega Man Soccer and Mega Man X. The inclusion of Mega Man Soccer is particularly interesting because it represents a less frequently reissued spin-off rather than another mainline platformer.

Several role-playing and action-adventure games also appear, including Breath of Fire, Breath of Fire II, Destiny of an Emperor, Demon’s Crest and Gargoyle’s Quest II. These titles expand the selection beyond Capcom’s better-known arcade and action franchises.

The Final Fight series receives substantial representation, with Final Fight, Final Fight 2, Final Fight 3 and Mighty Final Fight all listed. Other action titles include Captain Commando, Commando, The King of Dragons, Knights of the Round, Magic Sword: Heroic Fantasy and Saturday Night Slam Masters.

Fighting games are represented by Street Fighter II: The World Warrior, Super Street Fighter II: The New Challengers and Street Fighter Alpha 2. The classifications also include Street Fighter 2010: The Final Fight, an NES action-platformer that differs considerably from Capcom’s traditional Street Fighter fighting games.

Rounding out the listings are 1942, Ghosts ‘n Goblins and Super Ghouls ‘n Ghosts.

One notable detail is the combination of previously released arcade games with titles originally developed for home consoles. Several games in the ratings, including 1942, Captain Commando, Knights of the Round and Street Fighter Alpha 2, have already appeared in Capcom Arcade Stadium or Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium.

However, the presence of console-focused games such as Breath of Fire, Mega Man Soccer, Final Fight 2 and Final Fight 3 suggests that the listings may concern something different from Capcom’s existing arcade compilations.

There is also a connection to Capcom Town, the publisher’s official online platform, which already provides browser-playable versions of numerous classic console games. Its catalog includes many of the newly rated titles, although that overlap does not establish whether the Korean classifications relate to a new commercial release, an existing service or another distribution arrangement.

The Korean classifications provide regulatory evidence that the listed games have undergone review, but they do not establish how Capcom intends to distribute them. A dedicated console-classics compilation is one possibility, while separate releases or another retro-game offering remain possible.

For now, there is no confirmed collection name, pricing, launch window or platform lineup. Any potential release for Nintendo Switch, Switch 2, PlayStation, Xbox or PC remains unannounced.
