GALAX has officially denied reports that its graphics card manufacturing operations have shut down because of NVIDIA GPU supply shortages. In a statement published on October 28, 2026, the company confirmed that its manufacturing facilities remain operational and that GALAX graphics cards continue to be distributed in domestic and international markets.
The clarification follows speculation that insufficient NVIDIA chip supplies had forced the graphics card manufacturer to close a production facility. GALAX rejected those claims, stating that its business and manufacturing activities are continuing normally.
In its official statement, GALAX said:

“We are aware of recent reports and speculation regarding GALAX’s business operations. We would like to clarify that these claims are inaccurate.”
The company also confirmed that GALAX and Palit belong to the same corporate group and share manufacturing facilities. According to GALAX, none of those facilities has been shut down, and production remains active.
The denial is significant because both companies manufacture NVIDIA GeForce RTX graphics cards for gaming PCs. A genuine manufacturing shutdown could disrupt product availability and raise questions about the future of GALAX-branded graphics cards, including its enthusiast-oriented Hall of Fame series.
The October 28 rumors specifically linked the alleged closure to shortages of NVIDIA graphics processors. However, GALAX’s statement does not identify any such shortage as a cause of reduced production, nor does it announce manufacturing cuts, suspended product lines or restrictions on sales.
The latest statement also follows earlier concerns about GALAX’s future after a corporate restructuring involving Palit Group. In April 2026, the companies clarified that GALAX would continue operating under a reorganized management structure, with support, logistics and development activities more closely integrated into the wider group.
Those earlier changes had raised questions about the continuity of the GALAX, KFA2 and Hall of Fame brands. The latest announcement addresses a separate concern: whether graphics card manufacturing itself has stopped.
The denial does not mean that broader NVIDIA GPU supply pressures have disappeared. NVIDIA has separately acknowledged supply constraints affecting the GeForce RTX 5090, while retail availability has become increasingly limited in some markets.
In Germany, for example, RTX 5090 stock shortages and unusually high retail prices have illustrated the difficulties facing buyers of NVIDIA’s flagship gaming graphics card.
These supply issues are distinct from the allegations involving GALAX’s manufacturing facilities. Neither the existence of GPU shortages nor reports of elevated retail prices establish that a particular graphics card manufacturer’s factory has closed.
For consumers considering a GALAX or Palit graphics card, the company’s confirmation means there is currently no officially announced manufacturing shutdown affecting GALAX products. Existing domestic and international sales channels remain active, although availability of individual GPU models may still vary by market.
GALAX has reiterated its commitment to supporting customers and partners while continuing its graphics card business. The company has not announced changes to its production capacity or provided detailed figures on current GPU output.
