Epic Games has officially detailed Fortnite’s Treasure Hunters mini-season, which launches November 1, 2026, at 9 AM ET. The update introduces Crossbones Isle, a new 80-player Battle Royale map featuring One Piece locations, combat abilities inspired by Luffy and Zoro, pirate-themed weapons and a Battle Pass featuring several anime characters. The announcement, published October 30, also confirms a series of scheduled content updates and a Chapter 7 end event on December 5.
The reveal substantially expands on the initial Treasure Hunters mini-season announcement, confirming that the pirate-themed update will introduce a different Battle Royale environment and gameplay mechanics rather than simply adding crossover cosmetics.
Crossbones Isle serves as the new setting for Treasure Hunters, with matches supporting 80 players. Among its confirmed locations are Arlong Park and Windmill Village, two recognizable destinations from One Piece. Players can also use cannons to launch themselves across the island, providing another way to move between locations.

The crossover extends directly into combat. Epic confirmed that players can use Luffy’s Gum-Gum Fruit abilities and Zoro’s Three Sword Style to fight opponents. Although the announcement does not specify every available attack or its damage values, the abilities establish One Piece as a gameplay component of the mini-season rather than a cosmetic-only collaboration.
Another major location is the $.$. Rocky, a battleship associated with A$AP Rocky. Players can board the vessel and use the Shock Rocket weapon to attack opponents. Epic also teased hidden treasures across Crossbones Isle, including the contents of a large chest belonging to a mysterious character called Captain X. The company has not revealed what that chest contains.
Treasure Hunters will introduce different captains throughout the season, each accompanied by a crew and a point of interest. The Straw Hat Pirates and A$AP Rocky lead the initial lineup, with Lil Uzi Vert, Cap’n Hatsune Miku and Kasane Teto arriving later. The rotating lineup gives players additional locations and activities to encounter as the season progresses.
The new Battle Pass includes Portgas D. Ace and Nico Robin from One Piece, alongside anime-inspired versions of Fortnite characters Jonesy, Cuddle Team Leader and Charlotte. Players who gift the Battle Pass to a friend will also receive a bonus Dark Kawaii Team Leader Outfit style, with the recipient receiving the bonus as well.
The announcement confirms several character releases through the Item Shop. Luffy, Nami and Usopp will become available when the season begins on November 1. A$AP Rocky follows on November 5 at 7 PM ET, with Zoro, Sanji and the Chopper Sidekick arriving November 7. Lil Uzi Vert is scheduled for November 12, Buggy for November 13, and Kasane Teto and Cap’n Hatsune Miku for November 14.
These details also confirm the broader One Piece crossover previously rumored for Treasure Hunters, including the involvement of multiple Straw Hat characters. The confirmed Battle Pass and Item Shop lineups clarify how the collaboration’s cosmetics will be distributed.
Epic is also introducing Captain Days, scheduled updates that add weapons, Sprites and other content to Battle Royale. The first Captain Day begins with the mini-season on November 1 at 9 AM ET, followed by additional updates on November 7, 12, 14 and 21.
Two recurring activities will operate alongside those updates. Mastery Mondays will add captains’ weapons to the beginning of matches, while Treasure Hours Sundays will feature increased drops and other bonuses. Epic has not yet provided complete details about every reward or item available through these activities.
Competitive players can also expect One Piece-themed cups, although Epic has not announced their schedules or tournament formats. Further information will be published through Fortnite’s competitive channels.
The Fortnite collaboration arrives alongside Rocket League's One Piece event, which begins November 1 and runs through November 23. Unlike Rocket League’s focus on vehicle customization and challenge rewards, Fortnite’s Treasure Hunters update incorporates One Piece-inspired locations and combat abilities into Battle Royale.
Epic has also confirmed a Chapter 7 end event for Saturday, December 5. The announcement does not specify its starting time or reveal what will happen during the event, but it establishes a major finale following the November mini-season.
Fortnite Treasure Hunters begins November 1 at 9 AM ET, with the first Captain Day launching alongside the new map, combat mechanics and Battle Pass. Additional characters, weapons and activities will arrive throughout November before the announced December 5 event.
