New Fortnite datamining has revealed additional details about the upcoming Persona 5 crossover, including alternate styles for Joker and Ann Takamaki and what appears to be a transformation emote for Joker. Fortnite leaker SpushFNBR shared the findings while crediting dataminers Wenso and DrCacahuette, who reportedly identified additional information attached to the two Outfits. Epic Games has not yet officially detailed these cosmetics, so the findings should be treated as leaked information until the crossover is formally unveiled.

Both Joker and Ann are said to include alternate styles using unique meshes rather than simple texture or color changes. That suggests their secondary appearances could make more substantial alterations to the character models than a conventional selectable style. Earlier leaks had already indicated that Joker and Ann would receive multiple cosmetic options, but the latest findings provide more information about how those variants may actually work.

Ann’s alternate appearance is reportedly believed to be inspired by Persona 5: Dancing in Starlight, although that identification has not yet been definitively confirmed from the files. The rhythm-game spin-off features a distinct outfit for Ann that differs considerably from both her everyday appearance and Panther Phantom Thief costume. Because the datamined Fortnite style reportedly uses a separate mesh, a more elaborate Dancing in Starlight-inspired design would be technically consistent with the finding, but the precise appearance remains speculative until the model is decrypted or shown in-game.

Joker’s leaked cosmetic setup appears to be more elaborate. According to the new information, his Outfit is associated with a transformation emote and a different face accessory, potentially allowing players to switch between two distinct appearances during a match. The alternate appearance has not been identified conclusively, with possibilities raised by leakers including his Dancing in Starlight design or his Shujin Academy student appearance.

A transformation between Joker’s civilian and Phantom Thief identities would fit the character particularly well, but the available datamined information does not yet establish which designs the emote connects. Fortnite has previously used built-in transformation emotes to move characters between substantially different styles, so the underlying functionality would not be unusual for the game. Until footage or decrypted models become available, however, the exact visual change should remain unconfirmed.

The findings add to a growing collection of leaks surrounding the crossover. Previous file discoveries have pointed to a broader Persona 5 lineup featuring Joker, Ann and Morgana, alongside additional vehicle and gameplay-related content. Morgana has also been linked to Sidekick functionality, while other datamined references have suggested a Persona-themed Match Override could accompany the cosmetic release.

Persona 5 is already confirmed to be crossing into another Epic-owned game this month. Rocket League’s official Season 24 announcement confirms a Persona 5 limited-time event running from September 25 through October 12, with challenge rewards including Trickster wheels, Morgana-themed items, a Phantom Thieves decal and a Joker topper. The event will also introduce a Mona Car Bundle with Panther and Joker decals, strengthening expectations that Epic’s wider Persona rollout is approaching.

Epic has not announced a release date for the Fortnite Persona 5 cosmetics or confirmed the leaked transformation emote and alternate styles. With more cosmetic data continuing to surface from Fortnite’s files, additional details could become available once the relevant assets are fully decrypted. For now, the new findings indicate that Joker and Ann’s Fortnite Outfits may be considerably more elaborate than their basic leaked lineup initially suggested.
