Fortnite is reportedly preparing Sabrina Carpenter’s former Music Pass outfit for an Item Shop release. Leaker HYPEX says Epic Games is getting the cosmetic ready to return through the store, which would give players another way to obtain the Sabrina Carpenter Outfit originally distributed through Fortnite Festival Season 8. Epic has not announced a release date or price, so the timing remains unconfirmed.

The outfit in question is different from the Tour-Ready Sabrina Carpenter skin that has repeatedly appeared in the Item Shop. Sabrina’s original Festival Season 8 Music Pass outfit features a yellow embellished babydoll inspired by clothing worn during her Short n’ Sweet tour, while progressing through the pass unlocked an additional yellow bodysuit style. Both were originally tied to the premium Music Pass when Season 8 began on April 8, 2025.

Epic explicitly stated at the time that Music Pass rewards were not exclusive. Its official Season 8 announcement said rewards from the pass could become purchasable through the Shop at a later date, meaning a return for the Sabrina Carpenter Outfit would be consistent with the terms under which it was originally released. HYPEX’s report therefore concerns when Epic may exercise that option rather than a change to the cosmetic’s original exclusivity rules.

Sabrina already has a separate shop-based cosmetic line. The Tour-Ready Sabrina Carpenter Outfit, SC Heart Purse, Sabrina’s Mic, Taste and Please Please Please cosmetics returned earlier this month after Sabrina Carpenter shop assets surfaced ahead of the rotation. Tour-Ready Sabrina was available individually for 1,500 V-Bucks and as part of the 2,800 V-Buck A Sweet Little Bundle.

The Music Pass version has remained distinct from that set. Purchasing the Season 8 Music Pass immediately unlocked Sabrina’s yellow babydoll look, while reaching the end of the premium reward track added the matching bodysuit style. The pass also included Sabrina-themed instruments and the Juno and Nonsense Jam Tracks alongside rewards from other artists.

Epic’s decision to make newer pass rewards potentially available later has increasingly blurred the old distinction between limited-time progression cosmetics and standard Item Shop releases. Fortnite has already begun bringing back cosmetics from newer passes under policies that explicitly allow future sales, including Chapter 6 Season 1 Battle Pass items reportedly being prepared for the Shop. Music Pass rewards have operated under similar non-exclusivity language for longer.

That does not mean every item from Sabrina’s Season 8 Music Pass will necessarily return alongside the outfit. HYPEX specifically highlighted the former pass Sabrina Carpenter cosmetic, while Epic has not announced a bundle, associated instruments, Jam Tracks or other rewards for the same rotation. It is also unclear whether both of the outfit’s original styles would be included automatically if it is sold through the Shop.

Pricing is another unanswered question. Comparable Icon Series outfits frequently sell for around 1,500 V-Bucks, including Sabrina’s Tour-Ready skin, but Epic has not published a price for the former Music Pass version. Pass cosmetics can also return in different configurations from their original reward structure, so its previous availability through the pass does not establish what a standalone Shop release would cost.

The reported return would be notable because the outfit has effectively been unavailable since Fortnite Festival Season 8 ended in June 2025. Players who missed the Music Pass have therefore had access to Sabrina’s separate Tour-Ready cosmetic but not the yellow Festival outfit associated directly with her season as the mode’s featured Icon.

For now, the Item Shop release remains a leak rather than an official announcement. HYPEX says Fortnite is preparing the Festival Pass Sabrina Carpenter outfit to return soon, while Epic’s original documentation confirms that Season 8 Music Pass rewards were always eligible for future Shop sales. A specific release date, V-Bucks price and final contents have yet to be confirmed.
