Rockstar Games has launched the GTA Online Business Rivalries Event, a four-week September promotion built around the game’s major criminal businesses. Executives lead the first week from September 3 through September 9, followed later in the month by bonuses for Bikers, Gunrunners and Nightclub Owners. The opening week includes a free Executive Office, a GTA$1 million Weekly Challenge reward and increased payouts across several activities.
Players can claim the Arcadius Business Center Executive Office for free during the first stage of the event. Normally one of GTA Online’s purchasable CEO properties, the office provides access to Organization activities and the Special Cargo business once players have the necessary warehouses. Rockstar is pairing the giveaway with faster sourcing and increased rewards to make the Executive side of GTA Online the focus of the week.
Special Vehicle Work is paying 4X GTA$ and RP from September 3 through September 9. Export Mixed Goods Missions are offering 2X GTA$ and RP, while warehouse staff will source Special Cargo at twice their usual speed. The combination gives existing Executives several ways to increase their returns while also making the free Arcadius office more useful for players starting that business path.

This week’s Weekly Challenge is directly tied to Special Cargo. Players who earn GTA$1 million from Special Cargo sales will receive an additional GTA$1 million reward, 10,000 RP and the Yeti x LS Customs Tracksuit. That makes the challenge one of the largest individual weekly payouts currently available without counting the money earned from the cargo sales themselves.
Rockstar is also attaching a longer-term reward to participation in Business Rivalries. Completing at least one Weekly Challenge during the first three weeks of the event will qualify players to receive a free Penaud La Coureuse sports car when they play between September 24 and September 30. Eligible players on supported platforms will also receive a complimentary Hao’s Special Works upgrade for the vehicle.
Business Battles have additional incentives throughout the event as well. Delivering Business Battle crates can award one of several branded clothing items, including the Six Figure Tee, Ride or Die Tee, Red and White Ammu-Nation Cap and Bourgeoix Tee. The rewards add another reason to participate in Freemode activities while the broader month-long business competition is active.
Several unrelated activities are receiving boosted payouts during the opening week. Community Mission Series jobs are paying 3X GTA$ and RP, while Madrazo Hits and the Diamond Adversary Series are offering double rewards. These bonuses provide alternatives for players who do not want to spend the entire week sourcing and selling Special Cargo.
Vehicle discounts are also part of the September 3 rotation. The Coil Cyclone II is discounted by 70%, while a selection of cars, aircraft and utility vehicles are reduced by 30%. The discounted lineup includes vehicles such as the Dewbauchee Vagner, Grotti Cheetah, Överflöd Entity XF, Ocelot Jugular, Buckingham Maverick, Mammoth Squaddie and HVY Insurgent Pick-Up.
The weekly vehicle rotation places the Declasse Impaler SZ on The Diamond Casino & Resort’s Lucky Wheel. Players can also earn the Karin Woodlander through the LS Car Meet Prize Ride Challenge by placing in the top two of an LS Car Meet Series race. Hao’s Premium Test Ride for the week is the Declasse Vigero ZX Convertible.
Business Rivalries follows Rockstar’s recent sequence of themed GTA Online events, but its four-week structure makes September broader than a typical weekly rotation. Instead of concentrating on one activity for the entire period, Rockstar will move the spotlight from Executives to Bikers, Gunrunners and finally Nightclub Owners, with new business-specific bonuses expected as each stage begins.
The Executive portion of GTA Online Business Rivalries runs from September 3 through September 9. The overall event continues throughout September, with the free Penaud La Coureuse reward arriving during the final September 24-30 period for players who complete the required Weekly Challenge participation.
