Marked for Mayhem Announced for PC With 2027 Release

Bladework Games has announced Marked for Mayhem, a new multiplayer action dungeon runner coming to PC in 2027. The game was revealed with a world-premiere trailer during PC Gaming Show Tokyo Direct 2026 and is now listed for release on Steam. Its central idea combines four-player dungeon crawling with objectives that can put members of the same party at odds with one another.

Marked for Mayhem is designed around groups of up to four players entering dungeons together while pursuing goals that may not always align. Rather than presenting cooperation as the only consideration, the game introduces contradictory objectives intended to create tension within the party. That setup means players may need to work together to survive encounters while simultaneously deciding when their own priorities matter more than those of their teammates.

The reveal trailer establishes Marked for Mayhem as an action-focused multiplayer game rather than a traditional turn-based dungeon crawler. Bladework Games is positioning repeated dungeon runs and the social friction between players as core parts of the experience. The concept appears built around the unpredictability that emerges when a cooperative group is given incentives that do not perfectly overlap.

A Steam listing for Marked for Mayhem has surfaced alongside the announcement and currently gives the game a broad 2027 release window. Bladework Games is listed as both the developer and publisher, making this the studio’s first publicly listed Steam project under that name. An exact release date has not yet been announced.

The title itself had appeared publicly before the full reveal through a trademark application filed by Bladework Games in March 2026. That filing covered downloadable game software and related entertainment uses, but did not disclose the project’s gameplay structure or provide a release window. The PC Gaming Show appearance therefore marks the first substantial public introduction of the game itself.

The four-player format also places Marked for Mayhem in a different space from dungeon crawlers that rely primarily on straightforward cooperative progression. Its conflicting-goals system gives the game a social element that could change how groups approach encounters, particularly if completing a personal objective comes at a cost to the rest of the team. Bladework Games has not yet detailed how those individual goals are assigned or what consequences players face for pursuing them.

Other specifics remain limited following the initial announcement. The studio has not confirmed additional platforms, pricing, a narrower 2027 launch window or whether the game will support features such as local multiplayer or cross-platform play. More information about progression, characters, dungeon structure and combat systems is expected as development continues.

For now, Marked for Mayhem is confirmed for PC via Steam in 2027. Its combination of four-player dungeon crawling and deliberately conflicting player objectives gives Bladework Games a clear hook for its debut project, with the newly released trailer serving as the first look at how that cooperative-versus-self-interest structure will work in practice.
